Just seen this on a facebook post and tried it and worked. If you currently have a movie pass you should cancel it, it will ask you about three times if your sure then an exclusive offer comes up asking if you want to stay for 6.99 a month for four months. If it don't work then all you've lost is about 2 minutes of your time. Worth a try though!

Probably because you already need to have a Movie pass.

It's old news. And account specific.

Well I just cancelled my entertainment pass and it gave me an offer of £4.50 a month for 4 months. I would say this deal is £5.99 a month.
#7
Regular offer its called a retention offer
#8
If anyone wants to buy a 4 month movie pass for £20 pm me.

it's cheaper than this deal.

I have been offered as low as £3.99 per month on the retention deal when cancelling.
Problem with the movies is you realise after a while that the movies don`t change often enough.
They take movies off, then fetch them back a week later and put them in the recently added section...

That's why I take a movies break now and then ;) I've got Netflix now so I use both.

I've had a real problem today with their live chat - I had two voucher codes (from here) back in December for a total of 2 months of Sky films - the first payment for £9.99 was due to go out on 23/2/17, however, they took a payment a few days ago (23/1/17) - a month early. I spent around 25 minutes messaging an advisor on chat and had no luck at all getting a refund (card payment) - I even asked if they could refund me the money, but I started to get asked a lot of questions about where I had got the voucher codes from - I told them that a friend gave them to me as they have now taken up a Sky tv package. I had to end the chat as I had to collect my elderly mum, but asked them to credit my account - I've just got home (after about 5 hours) and they have done none of it.

Try a different person, they are usually very helpful.

I think that the problem is, is that the voucher codes that were applied on my account have disappeared - it just says that I have a subscription - somebody else earlier today said that their voucher codes had disappeared as well, but that it says that their first payment is due 23/2/17 (which mine should have been).

thanks for this. I've just run out of vouchers for movies, so this is cheaper than the standard monthly subscription.
#16
wont use now tv again after adding 3 months of movies via a voucher I got with an additional box. Put the code in and said it was accepted then went to watch a movie the next day but said I didn't have any credit left. Tried to enter voucher again but said code was already used. Got absolutely nowhere with they're customer service.

Did anyone really get offered £5.99 for 4 months, or was it really £5.99 per month for 4 months (like I was offered)?
#20

#22
£3.99 per month for 4 months
#23
I'm on £3.99 for 4 months through the same method
#24
Hi lambchope1978. What code did you use to get the 3.99 for 4 months..
#25
I read my offer as per month not for 4 months. Only one way to know. What was the initial payment you paid and when is the next payment? If there's no payment due for 4 months then you are correct.
#26
I logged into my account on computer. Clicked cancel on my now tv subscription. It asked me about three times was I sure I wanted to cancel & I kept saying yes until they offered me the retention deal of £3.99/Month for 4 months.

When I cancelled a few days ago I was offered £5.99 a month for four months... not sure how they pick the offer - I only had movies and cancelled with about three weeks to go. Hoping they might offer a better deal before it runs out entirely.

When I've threatened to leave in the past, the best they ever offered me was £6.99/month. But never taken it up, either getting cheaper deals by buying [yet] another box or getting cheap codes from eBay.

If you have any Android phone (not just Samsung - I've a Huawei & it works), install the Samsung MyGalaxy app & check if this offer's still available. I'm on the same deal at the moment from the previous time it was posted last year (see screenshot below):

3 months Now movies £5.00 on samsung my galaxy... - that's £5 in total for 3 months.

Follow the Now TV link from the app to a browser window, but don't sign-in to your Now TV account via their link. Instead copy & paste the link into a text editor or similar - the link will have a 14-character code at the end of it beginning with NOW. Login to your Now TV account now & input the 14-character pass code in the appropriate field to see if it works.

As others have reported, I put a 6 month Entertainment code in from a Currys deal here in December, which was accepted and took my sub to July this year. Today I got charged £6.99 for a month of Entertainment, checked my account, and the 6 months previously entered has completely disappeared :(

Spoke to online chat who basically said there was nothing they could do unless I had the code used or a screenshot. I asked why I would bother to keep the card or take a screenshot if the pass had been accepted at the time, but they were having none of it. Nothing I can do at all - lost 6 months Entertainment :(

Just wanted to share as a warning - keep your used pass cards of take a screenshot once accepted. Thanks to Crossbow for the Samsung heads up - just applied that Movies code (and took a screenshot!) - but be aware of this suspect Sky TV disappearing code rip off :(

Go to Curry's and if you have more than 1 account, double check it's the right one you are looking at.

Not sure how going to Curry's will help, but I've only ever had one Now TV account and like I said, the code applied at the time - saw it right in front of my eyes. I'll be keeping used pass cards and taking screenshots every time in future and suggest others do the same.
