wtf £5 for 8 ppl paintballing

How ironic that they are all events that require you to spend significantly more money when you get there.

i.e. paintballs, bombs etc
photos, treatments, products

I'm not sure if they think we're stupid for thinking it's only a fiver or their stupid for thinking we'll buy in to it!!

is the paintballing not good then? turn up on the day pay £20 each and u got yourself free entry with 200 paintballs? thats enough for a good game right?
#5
You have to pay extra on most of these but they still offer good value for money, just make sure you read all the terms and conditions before buying.

Pity most of these aren't available in Northern Ireland.

Nope, if you're anything like most beginner paintball players you'll burn through 200 rounds in no time flat as the guns are semi-auto and the tendency is to spray and pray rather than burst fire. On a full day I'd expect you to get through anywhere from 400 to 700 rounds depending on how many games you play and how well you do.

Quite frankly, £10 per 100 rounds is bloody expensive too... £6 to £7 is a decent average price with a game fee normally being around £10 for the day. So you'd burn through your voucher savings of a fiver per person in, oh let's be generous and say 200 rounds, and if you threw out 700 rounds you'd be about £15 per person worse off.

Also, note this voucher does NOT include food or drink. Most places include that as part of your game fee so I bet they're not going to be cheap.

Yes, i worked out that it cost me £80 for 8 of us on a similar £5 offer.

You are looking at between £40 and £60 all in for a typical walk on punter day (where you need to hire all the equipment). You can either book one of these and pay over the top for the extras (food, ammo, wahtever else they can milk from you) or pay upfront.

Cold, on the basis that this is only a headline bargain.

I did one of these a few weeks back (£5 offer with sun) cost me another £60 on the day for ammo but had a great time.

ICE COLD - from playing paing ball in the past on a days event you easily go through 600-1000 subject to your "style" of game and your colleagues.

If this was like the orignal paint ball when your hopper/cartridge only held 20 balls it was a fairer more precise game, now with semi and even fully auto you can blat through a whole hoppers worth in what seems like seconds.

IF you want to go with a few buddies go direct to to the company and get an up front quote with costs for extras and ask for discounts etc.

I just booked a paintball session next weekend at my local centre and it was £22.50 which includes everything plus 300 paintballs. Additional paintballs are £6 per 100 though you can have them for £4 per 100 if you buy enough in advance.

Buy in advance, for some games you can hammer out 100 without even thinking about it
