I just use the unflavoured, chuck it down. no real flavour, nothing unplesant.

strawberry is nice, raspberry takes a bit of getting used to

unflavoured and unsweetened works magic! you control the taste and if you want some, you add it yourself...

my concern about MyProtein is that they're starting to increase their prices....I hope they don't develop the MaxiMuscle syndrome !

Just ordered 5kg, the price seems good,
I have been doing training for 5 months now and have started feeling worn out, My routine consists of 40 minutes weight training each morning, then i cycle to work which is 5 miles, but i think i need to have this boost in Protein, I cut back on my diet heavily, and increasing protein was something i was unaware off. Hope it helps.

if u dont have enough protiens your body will actually burn muscle tissue for energy,

How much whey protein do you use every day/scoop? I have one shake in the morning and one after a workout, with each shake consisting of two heaped tablespoons (Don't have a 25g scoop), but i guess i'm having about 40g of whey a shake, is that enough?

depends on the make of powder.
i have about 45g of protien a day from powder then the rest from normal foods.
making a total of about 65-70 a day
i scoop before and 1 after workout,so i imagine u are right with 2 table spoons.

Cool, yeah i don't really get much protein from normal foods so i try to make it up with the whey protein.

65-70gs of protein isnt much.. especially if your getting 45g from powder.. thats like 20 grams from normal food.. a tin of tuna is more than that alone..

you want to be looking at 1.5g per lb weight then spread out over 5/6 meals per day..

eg.. 150 lbs = 225g protein per day.. over 6 meals - 37g protein per meal..

You advised someone on their diet earlier in the thread yet you think 65 g of protein a day is enough if you weight train? I'm sure 45g is around the RDA for a woman who is on a 2000kcal/day and doesn't train so how you think 65g a day is sufficient i don't know! You will limit growth if you dont eat, afterall you can't build a house without bricks, and protein is simply amino acids, the very building blocks your muscles are made of.
