The description only says Sata (ie- not SATA II) but this picture makes me think it's a SATA II:

£87 from Amazon. Same model number:

Oh yeh, I wonder what the warranty, if any, is available from DX. At least the Amazon one has 2 years.
The 2 year warranty comes from Transcend:

This is the MLC version, read up to 150MB/s, write up to 90 MB/s

True about the warranty, so it's probably fine to order from DX. Tempted :whistling:
These are fakes... be careful

Do you know that to be a fact or are you just speculating?
If the price differential between Amazon and DX was huge then DX might be a contender for me. In this case it is not - I'd advise go for Amazon and get the UK based warranty. These things can only get cheaper - probably best to wait a few more weeks to get it cheaper.
The DX price does not include 15% VAT, either, so the true price differential over Amazon is about £7 only.
Don't buy stuff like this at DX, they're great for many things but flash memory of any sort is not one of them... Lots of fake stuff and probably you'd not be convered under the manufacturer warranty here.
I like DX for many smaller items, however, I have been burned several times and now try to look elsewhere.

The lie, give inaccurate descriptions (at times) and refuse refunds. Try to play out on Paypal refunds,ie. claima refund can only be given if you close you dispute, which may well be true, however, once a dispute is closed, it can't be re-opened. Good luck with and claims.
lukewarm for me get a 64gb samsung for £86 http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.jsp?SAM-SSD64M#top

Some proof would be nice. If you know something please share. if not you should be a bit more careful about spreading malicious and potentially libellous unfounded rumours.

I haven't seen any articles about fake SSDs so far and I'd certainly like to know what to look out for if there are any on the market.
Just FYI that's not true. The prices do include VAT lol.

This is still the cheapest 32GB SSD available so it's unusual it's getting voted cold.

I guess it's just cause it's from DX who many people seem to dislike.

it may include sales tax at source, what about VAT at customs?
Be Extremely careful. They sell fakes item. The customer services take ages to sort the problem out. AVOID
