EDIT: EXPIRED!

http://scan.co.uk/todayonly/

You can find it listed under the supersaver listing. Normal selling price of about £70ish and previous today only prices of about £35 makes this a pretty decent bargain I think.

You can also get free delivery with scan through hexus and avforums (although I cant remember the minimum order price for this - was it £25 before VAT?)

If the offer has expired how can anyone vote it hot?:?

Don't people understand that with a PSU the quality is far more important than the price? If your cheap PSU dies it could take the whole of your PC out with it...

It was on yesterdays Supersavers.
Would have still been there today up to at least 1pm.
From what I've heard it's a decent PSU.
Bought one yesterday at £27.01 with free delivery :)

Thats very true - I would go as far as to say that when this deal was one, it was the best of both worlds being a quality PSU for cheap! Fortunately FSP are a well known manufacturer for PSUs and are pretty much as solid as they come for most users.

FSP is a pretty huge psu manufacturer... lol.
If your expensive / high quality psu dies it could take the whole of your pc out with it.
Seen just as many high quailty ones take out hardware as cheap rubbish. Infact probably more, it seems when the higher quality psu's go, they go with style.
Where as the cheap junk go with a little puff... lol.

Ah ok, I'd never heard of FSP myself and presumed that high wattage low price meant that it must have been some no-name brand

Posters should also note that there is a reason the RRP is around £70. This is the OEM version (ie "not black" version) of the Epsilon FX700-GLN. See a review here:

http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/psu-roundup_6.html

It's a very good power supply from what I have read and is what I will be using in my upcoming PC build. Much better than the modular no-name 650W unit on ebuyer (and other places) which is what I was considering otherwise...

And yes, it is on about once every week or two for between £27 (lowest) and £35ish. Worthwhile waiting for, in my opinion.

Yes, and so can your expensive PSU. But the chances of it failing and taking out your entire PC? In my experience, zero in about 200.
