It may be available untill 2012 but they only have certain days and rooms when you can visit, well that was the deal when I booked another 2 night break with KGB. They had rooms available for normal rates but they wouldn't let me use the voucher as all the weekend slots had gone for the deal!?

Had a look on the Hotels site lovely Hotel...........but they allow dogs, and I for one will not book a Hotel where dogs are allowed in the bedrooms, I wouldn't have a dog in the bedroom at home so I certainly wouldn't like to be allocated a room where there is a possibility that a dog may have been in the room before it was allocated to me. I thought I would mention this as some guests may have allergys to animals, or even worse Asthma, and it's best they know before they buy the deal, yes I know I may be jumping the gun as they say, but I don't think all hairs left can possibly be fully cleaned away before the next allocation. sorry to be negative in some peoples views ,but it is my personal opinion so please respect that.

Aren't all hotels obliged to take guide dogs anyway?

Aren't all hotels obliged to take guide dogs anyway?

Since December 1996, it has been unlawful for hoteliers and restaurant owners to refuse to serve a disabled person – including guide dog owners – or offer a lower standard of service for reasons related to the person’s disability. Since October 2004, the law also requires that service providers make reasonable adjustments to the physical features of their premises to overcome barriers to access.

Looks a decent enough deal, hotel looks a bit twee though. Mind you if it's warm, dry, comfortable and clean it's good enough for me!

Ok so all that are allergic to dogs don't book SIMPLES.

There is not much to do in Sanquhar, quite a depressing place in my opinion.

Lets all book and hold some sort of Hot UK Deals convention there!

Limited rooms available - there are only 9 rooms in the hotel (I assume they mean 9 double rooms), and of course they can't give them all out for the kgbdeal (i was just told) - nothing from now til September (plenty after that), so although a double room was showing available on my preferred date in the beginning of July the chap told me I couldn't book it with this deal.

Ho hum.

Hmm, I was going to book this but I won't bother now. Bummer.

There are plenty of weekdays available which suited me - but I appreciate not all.
Got my first choice of dates in September, and my fallback dates in November were also available.

Very easy to book with Ian @ Blackaddie by email even though I was out of the UK at the time.

Yeah we tried to book in August for this year but have changed it for the MIssus birthday in April next year.

They were very pleasent and helpful on the phone.
