Your just asking for it to go negative asking that question. Don't forget, there are a lot of nasty peeps out there who take great delight in voting cold if they think it bothers you.

good price but its a beko, which arent as good as aeg, siems, lg or bosch.

It does wash yr clothes but be warned they aint fantastic. I bought one from B&Q last week for 140 (not the model mentioned) used it for 10 washes now the 90 and 60 program wont work? :?

Beko - just read any reviews online - they are not cheap as you will be replacing it every 3 years.

better buy a Siemens - lasts 12-15 years for £450 - much better buy

Why would you want a washer for that long. It will look dated in a new kitchen.

But surely HUKD members should stick together for the greater cause of getting bargain deals from the normal rip off merchant stores.

Voted cold but I will explain why and I think you should out of respect for the person bothering to post the deal. The reason is, to me this site isn't simply about deciding you'll pick a certain type of product, in this case a 8kg washing machine, then finding out which 8kg machine is cheapest and then listing it.

If we all did that, the site would be pretty pointless. Anyone can just pick a product category and then identify the cheapest model in that category.

The point of this site is to find hot deals on a specific product - finding a product which is on sale as a particular price pretty much everywhere, and then posting a specific shop/site where it's significantly cheaper than anywhere else.

So if this model was usually £400 but you'd found it for £226, that's a hot deal. However if this product usually retails for around that price everywhere, and that's a pretty standard price for it, that's not a hot deal just because it's the cheapest model in that category.

To me it seems like this is a pretty standard price for that model, so it's not a hot deal.

Having done a little more research, it would seem I made a bit of mistake here, as this is the cheapest price for this model. The standard price seems to be around £250, and the next best I can find is £244 at Comet.

So in hindsight I shouldn't have voted cold, sorry. I can't withdraw the vote but I'll give you some rep to make up for it.

Still not a really hot deal as it's only a £18 saving but that's still a worthwhile saving so I'd have voted it warm.

Might be better in future to say this is the best price on this model, rather than just saying it's the cheapest 8kg washing machine you could find. Then if you list the next best price you found, people have something to compare it to and it's easier to see if it really is a deal.

I doubt it - would you change your kitchen in 12-15 years ?

take a look, their machines are really modern, not like a Miele that looks 10 years old when you buy it

try to think past tomorrow and look at it as an investment. £ per year it is a much better deal.

Can I sell you a brand new washer for £49 - great price, but it will only last 6 months.....

Rofl, apologies, my bad. That'll teach me to look more carefully at the dates on search results!! Thanks for pointing that out :-)
