Seems to get posted every other day!

Thanks ss78611 ordered one.
#4
Seems like a weekly thing for me. Rating this up lol
#5
does the price ever go up?

Not really a hot deal, even if it is a good mouse.
#6
nice :D
#7
Why is it all...dented?
#8
I have one of these for playing Q3 and it's good but I'm so used to playing with my wireless Logitech mouse that I over compensate with this. Very smooth and responsive. Takes a bit of breaking yourself in.
Dents are an optical illusion, it's completely smooth but looks cool.

I've got a G5 which is very similar but with adjustable weights.

Definitely recommended for this price :)

It's just the design, it isn't actually dented

This is an amazing mouse! Absolute bargin for the price! It's a couple of generations old but will do the job very very well.
I upgraded from the MX518 to the g5 then the g500. They are very similar, the newer ones aren't really worth it unless you need the adjustable in game dpi.
The weights the newer models come with are a gimick.

Not as good as this gaming mouse 8)

Would a newer laser mouse be much better than this or is this optical one just as good?
#14
if you have a logitech mouse already and its faulty , phone them up .. they have excellent customer service , and replace free of charge normally... even way after 12 months
#15
bit small & bit light for me, but cracking mouse for < 20 squids ;)
#16
Even though I bought mroe expensive mice in the past, I keep coming back to the good old MX518.
Highly recommended!

A hamster. To be specific - Phodopus sungorus, the russian winter-white dwarf hamster.

i also want to add logitechs customer service is phenomenal!

Emailed them yesterday as my VX Nano started playing up and they are sending a replacement MX Anywhere via UPS as the Nano is discontinued. I think mine was past warranty too.

That's baby guinea pig, they are something like a hybrid between a rabbit and a mouse.

More heat from another MX518 owner. Great mouse and great value at this price, though this does seem to be the standard "deal" price nowadays.

And another plus for Logitech's Customer Support - had issues with an older MX700 mouse after a couple of years and they replaced it free of charge. Very happy to keep buying Logitech products - great items with great support.

Got to say, I prefer my Intellimouse Explorer 3. A good price for this though
#30
I don't think this is the best gaming mouse ever, but it's certainly the best value for money. Heated.
#31
I purchased one of these about 2years ago and not a single problem, i highly recommend it.
#32
5 years with mine in perfect condition.... next mouse will be the same!

Their customer service is indeed class leading.

My MX518 was giving me problem after 18 months of use. I emailed them the receipt and they despatched a brand new mouse within the week.

Normally, I would prefer MS mice. I was happily using them for 8-10 years, but once I experienced the customer service, its difficult to go back to MS. With Logitech, you are buying a mouse with fantastic warranty support, which is why I think this mouse is one of the best around.

With so many companies offering just terrible customer support, it's good to hear Logitech are so good. That makes a HUGE difference when I decide which brand or product to go for. Oh - and it looks like this is now expired/out of stock for that price directly from Amazon.

Which is better the Sidewinder X3 or MX518?
I'm guessing the MX518?
#36
Did anyone even check that this is £22 with delivery?

I ordered this on the 6th, still not expecting a delivery till 12-16th, yet im paying 4 quid for delievery.. not sure if this is that much of a bargin to be fobbed off and charged over the odds in delievery...

PS this has now gone upto 24 quid..
