I've got this shaver... paid £21 around a year ago which was a bargain at that price.
This is the cheapest i've ever seen it, its an absolute steal of a price.

Hot.

Bought one of these when they were selling them for £19.99 back in August. It's a pretty good shaver, may not give a close a shave as a wet razor (what electric shaver does) but does shave quite evenly. I like it anyway and have been using it every day for that past month as I've been quite lazy with given myself a wet shave.

Definitely voting this hot!

I know but I hate paying a higher price for something once I know that it's been cheaper...

Another one here who bought it last week and just seen this thread. So annoying!

PS. The one I bought just came with a 2 pin (Euro) plug.
Surely it should have a UK socket adapter inside as well? Anyone care to inform me?
Also, the blades protective cover was lying loose inside the box instead of covering the blades. Just wondering if this has been sent back by someone, though it does look unused.

anglo, just received mine from the £22.90 deal (delayed by the weather conditions I suspect). Mine had a shrink wrap "Hygiene Seal" that instructed "Open only when ready to keep the shaver". I think that your wondering is correct and would have them replace it unless you are content that it is indeed unused.
P.S. The two pin plug is standard for shavers, isn't it? Mine has one and plugs into my bathroom shaver socket, just as my old one does.

Thanks for the feedback. :)
Did it have a UK adapter inside as well?

Did it have a UK adapter inside as well?

No, but no shaver I've ever bought has either. It's the sort of thing, like travel adapters, that you pick up as and when needed. I've a UK one somewhere, but tend to use shaver sockets (which are of course transformer protected, and hence safer). Hope that helps.
I might add that like you I'm annoyed not to have bagged this deal, but it's timing meant it was always a non-event for me.

Thanks again for the info ozodimal. :)
I'll just keep it then as everything else is OK with it and avoids the hassle of returning it. It may have just been packed poorly at the factory.
I have adapters in the house and there's a shaver socket in the loft conversion bathroom that's never been used as I haven't had a mains powered shaver before. I just automatically thought that it would come with a UK adapter.
