Bit wary about this as we got a Nat Geographic 3D space projector thing at Argos which was pants. It gets some good reviews though so I might give it a go. Thanks OP.
#8
If it had a calender in it that synch'ed it to the real phases of the moon then I think it would be superb but, as far as I can tell, the phases are set manually which seems disappointing to me.

Just reserved - thanks OP! H&R :-D

Had the same problem with my sons room - got a blue blackout blind instead and then used some good quality glow in the dark paint to 'spot' a few stars onto it. Paint is transparent when the room is lit but look great when lights are off and blind is down.

Shotgunned the last one in Bournemouth, i was looking at these a couple of weeks ago @ £30 so this is a very hot deal!

Thanks!

We moved house in July, and we have also done our sons new bedroom in a space theme... well, space accessories, shall we say.

We got his curtains from Tesco - they are navy blue with loads of white stars on, and come with tie backs.

Unfortunately I can't find them online, but may be worth a look instore.

Anyway, just reserved one at the Metro Centre store. H&R added.

This is true. I bought the Solar system in your room for my daughter for crimbo and although it looks good, all it does is spin (slowly) around..whilst making an awful noise. I was quite disappointed with that one to say the least. It does look great up though, which is why I kept it and my 11 month old son can't take his eyes off of it! It certainly doesn't do what it sais on the tin, though!

I've reserved the moon in my room for my baby sons wall :) at this price even if it's pants it will still make a fancy night light! ;-)

Think the comment was in jest, re the latest security checks needed for looking after friends' kids!

Good spot - even if it is not that great, it is still only £12 and includes the cd - if it gets your kids interested in science it is worth it

Reminds me of an episode of Babar - where the rhino king's wife wanted the moon, so he builds a rocket etc. Quite funny actually.

Stick a Ritz against the pane. The little bug gers won't know the difference.

These are fantastic. We got one for our daughter's bed room a few weeks ago. We use it EVERY night as a really cool night light. It turns off after 30 minutes so it is really useful.
#24
Excellent, Thank you!

Missed this last time and was tempted to pay the thirty quid that they were going for on ebay.

:)

brought this for my sons room last year. i still love it and so does he. has remote control to set just 1 moon posistion or can be set to flick throegh all of them. then put the glow in the dark stars around it too looks lovely.
#35
Hmmmmm

ok so i've just bought one, its pretty neat but i think "excellent" is overselling it. Does provide a neat effect and good for £12 though.

Also, its smaller than i thought, its about the size of a dinner plate
#36
