Two pairs of jeans for £30.40 was what I went for!

I've ordered twice from Burton's. First time the order never arrived and went missing. Even they didn't know where it had gone. Second time, they sent the wrong type of jeans.

Never again. Not saying everyone will or has had a bad experience, but God, I've had bad luck with them.

Problems here to, 1st time, box damaged clothes hanging out, second time, box opened!, 3rd time clothes had a stitching needle in them!!!!!

IMO they need to use a more reliable courier, and check theyre stuff before they send it.

Instore brilliant though.

Just looked online and am underwhelmed by the prices. They have very few named brands so it's difficult to compare exact items, but my general impression is that compared to other online retailers like debenhams, or even the supermarkets (never mind mandm), the prices are not great. Good luck to those of you have bought and are happy, but they won't be added to my favourites list.
No waterproof coats or jackets that I could see,and after all it is winter time.
They don't claim to be an outdoor shop I know, but not much use being fashionable and trying to impress the opposite sex if you're cold and wet really.

Wow. Have you never heard of an umbrella? Generally smart woollen coats aren't waterproof (I have seen a designer one with GoreTex though).

Umm... I got several smart-casual t-shirts for less than £4 each, 2 pairs of jeans for as close to £15 each as you can get and some other stuff (eventually). I'm not a massive fan of Burton's myself but if you have ever worn their jeans they are comfortable, well made and stylish if you choose the right pair. Burtons are not and never have been about the outdoors, but all about casual and formal fashion at prices most can afford... none of your Giorgio Armani suits etc costing several hundreds of quid.

You are very much entitled to your opinion as we all are but I can't help but feel you missed the ball here and could be missing out on some decent deals. Their 2 for £38 jeans (before 20% discount) even at normal price is a good deal, so at £15 a pair your getting into ASDA George prices and lord knows they are cheap, not stylish and not well made!
