This is a great peice of kit. A 500w PIR floodlight with a portable CCTV unit which records still images either single or double burst as well as avi clips (10sec per clip).

You basically insert a SD card which will capture images which you can then pull out and check or connect a usb directly to the unit.

You will of course need to place this in an acessible place which I have done - next to a window opening and can easily access the unit and check data and change settings.

Does the job brilliantly and saves me from purchasing a seperate cctv unit which will involve more wiring, recording kits etc

Same product sold on flea bay for £100

Not had any problems with picture quality thus far. Picks up number plates from 10m and clear pics of faces etc. Depends on personal preference I guess but for those who want a decent security system without having the hassle of wiring and additional kits (like myself) I think its pretty decent.

Hi ruggyfish7, is there any chance of posting some pics as I am interested in this?

Cheers

i live in the wigan/bolton area but i was told by the guys fitting all the security stuff it was a nationwide deal.

i only heard about it because i saw some police knocking on doors asking if people wanted free security checks on there house i asked about what they were doing and they gave me a phone number to call for a security check to be performed on my house..i gave it a ring the arranged a day to come and check my house a team showed up the walked around the house checking all access points and checked my garden then they told me what i needed then they went out to the van got the gear and fitted it all it was brilliant.we also got dna spray to spray on all valubles.
