Frozen, straight across from the fridges where the ice creams etc are. There was loads left.

Apparently you are supposed to defrost it in the fridge for.............Wait for it..............88 hours! oO

Got 2 in the freezer the 8.9kg one is sat at the side of the kitchen sink as its too big to fit in the fridge :p

At least it should reduce the defrost time down that way

Receipt should be in the first couple of comments (I knew I'd be asked even though I've been an active member on here for years :P )

Anyone else found any this cheap? My local half priced their turkeys two weeks ago and think they got rid of them all but will check in the morning.

What's the use by date? (Can they be kept in hinge freezer until Christmas?)

Great buy.
Defrost, cook, cut into portions then freeze individual cooked portions. Also freeze the resulting stock in small containers.
Then use for anything you'd use chicken for - soup, rice dishes, sandwiches, salads, meat and two veg dishes, curry, pasta, the list goes on.
We are still eating turkey left over from Christmas using this method. Had turkey and corn soup just yesterday.
#36
Does anyone know if there are any frozen geese, either farmed, or wild?

Can't see a use by date. The best before date states end of Aug 2017

Didn't see any geese, there's loads of large Christmas cheesecakes and various other desserts reduced though
