Do they do salt and vinegar? ;)
#9
are they injected/ coated in flavor powders? if not do they feed special liquid to the plant so it absorbs the properties (highly doubt it as it'll be broken down)?

Lol at the comments on here. Asda had to do something after tescos savoury doughnuts. . But these are quite nice. Cant complain about them if ive not even tried them can i. Kids love them
#11
They dont say how its done just that they are naturally grown varieties

Aldi had mango flavoured grapes this weekend. I had to go back to the shelf and read again twice and i still don't understand why or whwther they are naturally like that oO

**goes to stock up on candyfloss flavoured grapes to turn into wine.

I think Sainsbury's had these a few years ago

EDIT: 2011

Oh, and in another twist, give a grapple a go! An apple that tastes like a grape!

Ok this is getting very strange but I must admit I am curious about how they taste and how they got them to taste like strawberry.
#17
Ok, the Sainsburys ones:

"It follows the return of Strawberry Grapes, a small grape variety from Greece with a distinctive strawberry taste."

So I guess it is just natural maybe?

I tried the tropical ones yesterday and they were nice, but just tasted like normal grapes to me! :) xxx

I immediately went down to my local asda (superstore) and they hadn't even heard of them and weren't on the shelf. When I showed them the magazine they said oh it must be a misprint. Just shows how inside the box people working at asda think lol
#22
If anyone could point me to a candyfloss plant I'd be your best friend forever.
#24
This is probably the stock that the Spanish eat as opposed to the usual crap they send...

I've had the strawberry ones and they're bloody lovely. The tropical ones just tasted of normal grapes. Worth a try, better that than sticking more fatty biscuits in ya trolley.
#27
That's the price they've been since Asda started stocking them. Beyond cold Freezing.

Its a brand new line that many people may not know about and I very much doubt it will stay at £2 as its a extra special item

sainsbury had them last year liked the taste

Still not a deal though, and unless you have the power of precognition there's no way to know what price they'll be.

The strawberry ones are pretty nice mind, had them twice :) They're smaller in size than your average grape but really sweet and refreshing :) I'm on a hunt for the candy floss and tropical ones tomorrow! My local is always sold out so I'm off to pastures new!
#34

Yes, I have got the right ones 110%!
I think it was a special offer ending soon, it was Asda West Swindon.
Strawberry grapes had £1.50 label on punnet, but price ticket on shelf edge said £1.00! Come up as a pound on receipt and till!
Tropical grapes were also £1.00 a punnet!
