got this for xmas and its FANTASTIC value for money. it has so many uses . it can be a work bench , it can be a straight ladder ( over 3.7 metres long) , and with the 3 angled joints its great for working on stairs/ stairwells. they are compact ,light, great quality and most of all cheap . will take a huge 120kg . http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130864
just checked delivery cost- there are muti options , but cheapest is the super saver option( 20% discount on this delivery option ) at £6.69 - total cost £30.69 . you can get free delivery if you spend over £50 i think .

Added a piccy cadmus, and the delivery charge too, which we usually try to show. Thanks :)

Was going to buy this, but thought that the delivery charge was a bit step (or should that be steep?)

Oh dear god! It's not the same one as in this video is it?

Can't see how £6 for a ladder delivered is steep..

These ladders claim to be able to bear almost 19stone (120kg), You could assume that's on the extended hinge in "gantry" config, though who knows, it could be stress on the rungs? Personally I think the 4 step version - which is 16' (side of roof level) @ £33 +P&P is a better deal, especially if you're topping it up to £50 to get free p&p.

I doubt the rungs could 'only' handle 120kg, it must be the centre hinge. Then again, the normal practise when using this as a flat surface is to lay a plank of wood over the top, which would make it easier to walk on but would also distribute the weight a little.

I wonder if these have any kite marks or BS ratings on them to validate the weight bearing.
If they even have the european EN131 rating, then they will be ok ( this is 110kg duty rating - 150kg max bearing in upright position).

If its just a Chinese rating then i would be very wary .

Among other items there are some of the other ladders from Ebuyer fetured on here. I.E. the telescopic (Second item in) but watch the rest. Very enjoyable.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CeLg9cKhrIw&feature=related

Just wanted to mention but has everyone noticed how one of the other ladders on here folds for storage.

DAMN! I was so excited to put this video up too. Beaten to it. Never mind. Still fantastic to see again. Can't beat seeing a man crush his arm under a ladder.... I'm sad like that. lol
