Cold voters, please explain why.

That looks like a well put together chair! I bought a leather faced one from Tesco £25.00 reduced from £50.00 and it broke within a month. Worth the money if its sturdy!

I find them all a bit of a lottery... my Tesco one is now minus the arms as one bust... but the mechanism is fine... when usually it is the mechanism that busts in no time :-(
I have to admit to getting through a lot of chairs like this - and have never had any one last long, but I am a bit hard with them!

Worth a shot... IF the colour is your thing! :whistling:

You can get a leather faced one from viking direct that's pretty much indestructable for this price, we have them at work, much nicer than a fabric one, so cold from me.

I have a leather one at the moment, but would rather have fabric any day. Leather is sweaty and uncomfortable in summer (especially with shorts on!) & cold when you first sit on it. I would be looking for something a bit less hard on the eyes than this one though!

The last (and it will remain the last!) item I bought from Viking was an Office chair - I got about 60% of it in the box - where the rest of it was, I have no idea - not that problematic in itself, it happens - but the "song and dance" Viking made of the situation left me waiting many weeks for a refund, a huge number of calls and a determination never to touch them with a bargepole again :-(

I have a feeling it is one of those companies that operate the concept of the bigger your buying potential, the more interesting you are as a customer! :-(
