Looks like a duplicate of http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/252998/19-extra-value-widescreen-tft-monit/ mods please remove.

Why doesn't the submit page list all deals already posted and save us wasting time posting and then asking for removal!

Not being negative - just making an observation.

The question really is asked on every thread for this kind of deal.

Not quite that easy, it only works with a SCART to VGA cable if your freeview box outputs the correct RGB signal, so make sure before you buy (I didn't and then had to return all the cables I bought).

I now have a Goodmans freeview box from Argos with HDMI out, and works much better via a HDMI to DVI cable to my Dell 2407WFP.

And even then you would need to plug in external speakers as VGA does not carry audio. Hassle if you're not really technically minded.

Traditionally TVs do more image processing and are better quality while monitors are much higher resolution. LCD technology has blurred the gap somewhat with most monitors now coming with image processing (bleugh) and LCD TVs being 720p or 1080p resolution.

jamba

Your favourite computer shop will do them, ebuyer for example have a 2m one for £3.55 before delivery.

I bought two of these because I saw they were DVI - fast delivery, but there was no DVI cable listed as supplied in the accompanying user's manual. Instead of the DVI cable there was an extra power supply cable for using abroad (not mentioned in their user manual). I contacted Ebuyer and they said they didn't have to supply the DVI cable because they had not stated it was included on the website. I argued that the user's manual was as much a binding document as the website so eventually they decided to send me a DVI cable for each of the monitors...while I was put on hold during this whole argument I heard their recorded message advertising all their monitors as having free delivery - as there is no way on their site to get free delivery for this (even super saver costs), I asked for a refund of the delivery charge and they obliged.
