B&Q currently have a 3 for 2 on all there extreme winter products (includes screen wash, ice scrapers and anti freeze), getting 3 cans of de-icer in the 3 for 2 amounts to £2.96 totalling each can at less than a pound each. If there are any cheaper deals on de-icer they are greatlty welcomed as it is a neccesity

Saw some on a pallet as I was leaving at the front of the store, I'm assuming they're getting them out for the following morning so worth phoning up your local first thing tomorrow

When I drove past my local B&Q today there were various big signs up outside, one of which was advertising some sort of salt.

I just ignored it. The £1 stuff in Sainsburys does the trick at a ridiculous fraction of the price!
