EyeToy: Play 3 will keep everybody entertained this year. The content has been carefully crafted to include a huge range of activities across multiple genres including sports, action and music, as well as a collection of whacky multiplayer party games that'll get the whole family playing together at the same time! Below is a small sample of what's in store:

Beach Volleyball: Spike your way to the top in a four player multiplayer game or against the local resident beach bums. Special modes include the hilarious speed rally.

Bowling: Hit the alley in this bowling bonanza! Play a traditional game of 10-pin, or go crazy bowling balls at the 'marching pins' in a unique knockout mode. The game also features a tournament for up to 4 players so you can really see who's the 'King Pin'.

DJ: Scratch the decks and entertain the crowds! Watch out for the club lights and 'hi fives'. This game will have you mixing with the best . . . How "bling" can you get?

Be the Band: Take the whole family to the stage and play one instrument each! Try your skills at guitar, drums, trombone, keyboard and...well, be the band! Poor playing will result in a poor show so keep in synch!

Hair Salon: Ever thought you could manage a busy day at the salon? In this hair-raising game, you're let loose to cut, style and design some weird and wonderful bouffants. Remember, your customer must like their new-look or there could be tears!

Boot Camp: Take hold of your nerves, and your stamina as you enter into this action-packed Boot Camp. Led by the fearful Sergeant, follow orders or face discipline, soldier! It's 'Sir, yes Sir' all the way as you take on training exercises and agility courses... you'll be whipped into military shape in no time!

Party on: Get physical in this crazy collection of micro games, designed for a four player extravaganza. Hilarious activities include: bell ringing; shark swimming; balloon blowing and the weirdly wonderful, 'Kitty Loves Me'!

The Playroom: The playrooms are back with a whole new range of crazy innovations. In true EyeToy fashion, the playroom experience provides open-ended fun and zaniness that will leave your mind boggling!

Don't get this mixed up with the camera for the PS3.

I have the one for the PS2, and it's rubbish, if you haven't played it save your money. I paid around £14 for the camera and a game last summer, so the price sounds about right.

Sony are releasing another gadget for the PS2 that is supposed to be closer to what the Wii does, whether it will be any good or not I don't know.

Have to hugely disagree I am afraid. For the money you can't go wrong. We bought a second hand camera for ps2 for £3 and Eyetoy play1 and 2, about 8 weeks ago. The kids love it. They are 2, 4, 5, 6 and 9. The neighbours kids are 10 and 12 and they love it too. It is great fun. My mother-in-law thinks it's brilliant and insits it's on every time she comes.
It really is good fun and along the lines of a wii, not as sophisticated, but the children see it as a different great game. :-D

Note that a similar game that includes the camera specifically mentions so:

I don reckon the camera is included but can anyone confirm please?

However the other 2 versions sold, clearly say solus. This one doesn't and has a picture of the camers, it looks exactly like the one I bought from play for £17.99 as a christmas present!

We liked these a little...until we played on a Wii.
Ok, so a massive difference in price but once you have played on the Wii I don't think this would measure up.
Great deal though!

I respect your opinion, my son was 9 when I got mine, It sits on top of my TV, and has been unused for months, I found it highly irratating and unresponsive.

Hmmm. Says in stock... but when you complete your order, it says out of stock:
"Playstation 2 Game - Eyetoy Play 3: Camera - Platinum / Item to be ordered from supplier"
Going back to the site it says in stock:?:|:?:
#13
I think the fact that it says "camera" in the title gives it away?
#14
If you play Singstar on the PS2 then I would recommend the camera as it shows the singer when they're singing and you can look at random pics of the performance afterwards as they are automatically saved.

Yes, I disagree as well. It can be a bit temperamental, I think its a matter of getting the lighting/background right for it. It worked ok-ish when we had it in our front room, but since we moved it up into the loft bedroom where it is lighter and the walls are a light colour its really responsive - cant go wrong for this price!
#16
You can't compare this to the Wii seriously! The price difference is enough to point this out! I got the first Eyetoy game as a gift (it was brought for £40) but I enjoyed playing it for some weeks then it got a bit boring. :P Can't go wrong with the price but I'd rather save up for the Wii.
#17
well it should include the camera with the product code they have listed

product code listd is P2OEARSNY13121

just googled the last part of that code SNY13121 and that will give u links to a couple of online retailers selling this game which all state camera included.

Item is now out of stock, though you can still purchase the item.

On my order details, it's now showing:

Playstation 2 Game - Eyetoy Play 3: Camera - Platinum / Item deleted - we are trying to obtain this item from alternate sources

I dunno if this guy got a faulty camera or didn't plug it in correctly but the words very wrong indeed comes to mind!

I have a PS2 camera & it works excellently with lots of good games, singstar, buzz & eyetoy.
Just make sure you have decent lightng in your room or else it will be rubbish!!!

You can also use it for a pc webcam, it is the best cam available for it's price.

Great cam, great price! :w00t:

Mine came today, complete with camera. The only slightly disappointing thing is that it's a silver one not black.

Great deal, well spotted
