Just finished playing this. Graphics are cack for the most part (terrible frame rate and low res textures), but it's a pretty decent game (cruddy ending though). Not as scary as Condemned/Silent hill, but still a few shocks and freaky bits if you like to **** yourself while you game :) I'd say 7/10 for the 3 or 4 nights gameplay it took to complete it. Nothing compelling me to play it again though, so I'm flogging it.

Bought it on the PS3 for £24.99 with free king of fighters (which I sold for a fiver) from Shopto. So, £19.99 is a decent price if you don't want the hassle!

I was umming and arring for ages about buying it on the 360 and probably should have done (better frame rate apparently and of course achievements). I just wanted to get some use out of the bloody PS3 which generally gathers dust with the Wii, while the 360 gets all the lovin'

Top post OP and Dandoc heat and rep added to both.

I have to repeat what I said about Crackdown from this store to warn you guys:

"Powerplaydirect have sent me an unsealed, clearly used, even marked and scratched games TWICE this year. Once with The Sims Pets for PS2 and then again with Tron 2.0 for XBox.

They supposedly don't sell used/returned games. It's all meant to be brand new.

I'll never buy from them again."

They refunded me including my return postage to them but nothing to compensate at all. They claim I must have got a used/returned game 'in error' but twice within 3-4 months? Shoddy.

Yes - I have to agree with you on this and it's been mentioned by quite a lot of other people also. I had the same problem a few months back on Tiger Woods where the game arrived unsealed (although the disk was ok).

Just make sure you're happy with this before placing an order with them. :)

Cheers Bookie, I thought it was just me whose money they didn't want any more!

Thanks for the heads up, sending second hand games is totally out of order.

I would rather pay a bit more from a reputable supplier.

I found Softuk to be the worst for this. So much so I've stopped using them. Never had a problem with Powerplaydirect though.

We'll see when crackdown arrives eh...
