I see the 4.3" has gone up to £59 again (I bought it for £49). If it's not urgent you could wait and see if it comes down again but it may not. The difference between the two is only the size (perhaps the battery in the smaller one will last a bit longer too).

Both can run TomTom v7 and iGO v8 software (read the discussion/feedback on ebuyer for details)..

Is there some way to block all ebuyer F&H posts automatically? It is all tat just re-branded by ebuyer and probably posted by them most the time anyway!

Think ill put this in the discussion pages too.

I believe the repost is because the price went down to 42.99 (from 43.95)

You can buy your TomTom for double this if you want but why not let other's have it for half that price? Are you ppl jealous because you paid too much? :)

If this were true, how come that amzon and WHSmith also sell the F&H brand. I'm almost sure they do not sell stuff for ebuyer.(perhaps you should change your name since you obviously not into "cheap stuff", LOL)

Are you seriously saying that amazon and WHSmith and other shops selleing stuff supplied by ebuyer? I don't think so (unless ebuyer also has a whole sale arm).

Why are people so against this? Seems excellent as a low cost GPS which can be hacked quite easily to run a whole host of other apps for Windows CE. And at £43 ees a bargin!

Gets my vote anyhoo...

Well said.

The RAC200 refurb for £30 went sky-hot because ppl obviously didn't realise that it contains Windows CE 4.2 which doesn't run TT7. This one runs everything as you rightly pointed out (TT7, iGO8, Navman, Route 66, take your pick).

I suppose you need to learn to listen to the right ppl, LOL.

I am not against this just the fact that this appears EVERY week and that Ebuyer only publish good reviews which appears to make this unit seem better than it actually is.

Ah yes, but we aren't Ebuyer are we? If someone genuinely had a bad review, with justification, we would listen.

Sure, it's no iTablet (meaning it exisits), but it's tried-and-tested ARM powered programmable CE gizmo for £43!! Dudes have put NES emulators on similar devices and it is essentially the same spec as units three times the price. What's not to like?

If it is listed every week it can only be because it's getting cheaper, so it's a better deal. A hot deal, maybe. In the UK.

You get the picture...

In that case you should be ashamed of selling tat.:santa:

Touché. Although, would have thought with all the useful advice I have given this forum over the years, over thousands of posts, I would deserve a little more respect.

Can't really argue with that, I suppose.
Haven't seen the unit myself, so no idea of the build quality therefore you might be right about it being tat. Just thought it seemed good value meself, and good for those who like to tinker...so to speak.
