120w work light good reviews etc probably not hot enough to warm your gloves on though! Screwfix worth a look at the moment some decent deals in the sale section (Steel forge stuff) claw hammers, lump hammers hand saws etc too many to list here.

Bought one earlier , no on/off switch, Light head does not swivel up or down so beam is fixed straight. and rear casing which is metal gets quite hot in use . Ok for £5.99 thou
Picking it up tomorrow so will see if it can be adapted to swivel otherwise as you say pretty useless if it doesn't swivel :(

It's ok for the money after all it's only £5.99. Don't think it's worth a lot more thou. My biggest concern is how hot the casing gets on the back You expect a bulb to be hot but not the casing of the light. Undecided whether to keep it or return it real, Probably suit some people but not what I expected really. Thou as I said £5.99 you can't expect top of the range really
Very handy and for that money it's good value
Picked up and now modified to adjust up and down easy fix with a round file (ie elongate the fixing hole), yeah £6 is about fine to pay probably not far off as bright as my 500w work light but doesn't matter to me how hot the casing gets my 500w you can't touch the casing after a few minutes but it is also good if you are working in a cold room it does warm the room up a bit after a while, will use this one to work on and around my cars as won't melt the bodywork etc like my 500watter, all in all decent enough buy ;)

Perfect, thanks OP!
Would this take a 500w lamp?

Nope think they are slightly longer the 500watt bulbs plus the heat build up would be a lot in a small lamp this size and could possibly blow the bulb :|

Saw these in Wickes for £14 so £6 got to be a deal?
