where to buy? online or somewhere?

Regardless of being a fan or not, this is another good show from Aston Villa. I recall seeing quite a few deals from them in the last few months - nice to see a club diong this once in a while, when some smaller and most bigger clubs are charging a lot more and rarely seem to do hot deals.

Of course you'll get the snide comments in any football thread, but let the heat do the talking at the end of the day :)

I am a Villa supporter and will be there, but not expecting to see many of the first team on the pitch. We have Blackburn in the FA Cup Semi a few days before, and then Arsenal in the league a few days after. Hopefully Salifou will get a start - probably first game after the Togo shooting.

Still a good price though for a cup tie, but it's always free/cheap to see the reserves play.

I think we may still throw out a few of our strong side out, but never know, have to agree with that.. Blackburn i believe will be our main aim to win as its the semi's. But arsenal, got doubts about that match .

But either way, come on villa... will be sitting in the M2 block with my dad.. :D

Hopefully if we give Blackburn a hammering in the first leg we won't need to field a strong team in the 2nd at VP, and then can put out a stronger team against Brighton.
It's not so much that we're playing Arsenal, it's more that it's a league match and we are hopefully still contending for 4th place, it's pretty tight for that place right now.

I always thought Villa were a reasonable sized club. How come they cant sell their tickets and need to have a sale?

Just think they want to share it with everyone - great deal to see a good game of footie for the kids

its not really a sale... Its just its a not really a major game playing brighton, so why charged stupid ammounts.

I can't afford to go see matches, so matches like this I go to as its a responsable price. Paying £30-£50 for a ticket is beyond me

i agree-its a great price for taking kids - my lad is a Villa fan (hence the email) but we are too far away to go (would love a programme for him if anyone does go!!!) - it would be perfect if we lived nearer

programme would be grate-would happily cover postage etc-but no worries if you don't.

Wish it was just a train - we are on the Isle of Man so a 4 hour boat trip each way and then train down from Lancaster, plus and overnight stay!

We will sort it sometime before the end of the season-tried to get tickets for when they were at Blackburn (easier to get to) but could only get in the Blackburn end at a mortgage like price - and couldn't trust my 9 year old not to cheer if Villa scored !

For future you can actually ask to be seated in the away stand - There is usually quite a large allocation in one of the stands. Or on avfc.co.uk you can buy away tickets.
Obviously the costs vary from club to club, Is there not a boat from the Isle Of Man to a port in Liverpool? Because then you have a few clubs within a good train link from liverpool. also from Lancaster there is Burnley which is closer than Blackburn to the port, but not sure if it's more difficult to get to.

Good win today as well. Claret and blue army!

Another cracking Villa deal. Good post OP

Wembley here we come - up the Villa
#24
Bought mine the other day, £15 to sit next to Randy Lerner in the Trinity Road Middle.
Excellent deal for us Villa fans and all neutrals are welcome, as are Brighton fans.
The Blackburn game on the 2nd was only £20, and got great seats for that as well.
#25
League Cup is Villa's for the taking!
Heat for the offer too.
#26
A lot of clubs do similar pricing for these kind of games. I know of at least one other midlands team with similar pricing for the cup game.
#27
Hope Villa stuff them good and proper.
#28
Got mine for the Holte End. First ever trip to Villa Park for me. Shame I dont know any other Villains and I am taking my brother who is a Man Utd fan. Bargain! Wembley here we come!

FA Cup semi??!!:w00t:

A few games have passed me by then. When did that happen? ;-)

its a great deal. I'm an Albion fan and my boss is a Villa fan, apparently a client has a directors box there, but i think i prefer (and have already) to pay £10 and get a chance to chant in the away stand. SEAGULL!

Great deal, just wish football was always this cheap!

Also it will be our third home game in the space of 6 days so charging normal prices for a game against Brighton (no offence intended to Brighton fans) will probably see a low gate. After all if fans were left with a choice of which game to miss this would be pretty high up on the list.

Anyway, good deal and heat added.
#36
Hot from me cmon The Albion:)
#37
I'm a Brighton fan and this seems like a prety good deal. Who knows, we surprised Man City a couple of seasons ago, we might just do it again. Come on the Seagulls and thanks to AV for the ticket prices.
#38
great hot deal. any villa fan know this: if you are sitting in trinity rd stand, which is the villa dug-out, nearest holte end or witton end? thanks. got 2 tickets!

thanks for the post-yes-the boat goes to Birkenhead on a saturday-but doesn't get there with much time to spare to get anywhere to see a game apart from in liverpool-my OH has taken him to Anfield but its really hard (and expensive to get tickets).

Rep for your post though - thanks so much for helping
