Great game but the story is a little short and they crippled the ability to buy anything useful in the ingame shops for some reason.

Im still playing Fable 2, but am tempted to buy this one. Although it will just sit in its wrapper along with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood that I got from Sainsburys's on launch day for £24 lol!

the deal will be more expensive in store, they are never the same price as the website and they aren't taking part in the one day deal christmas promotions. I used to work there and lost count of the amount of people quoting online prices which I couldn't honour instore!

Been waiting on this and had £7.50 in game points so very happy. Voted hot :)

Game suck.

Every time i walk into Game its just disgusting. The prices are at times double what they are online. Its a case of walking around the store and spotting how much more each game is in store than online.

Even the pre-owned stuff is still more expensive than new online. Game is terrible. Online, not so bad lol!

This game was a huge dissapointment. I loved fable2 this is nowhere near as good. Worth a rent at most.

Ha yeah all the staff know the score and think the pricing is ridiculous at times, especially pre-owned, the company heads dont know what they are doing (or maybe they do...one of the only companies on the high street turning a hefty profit!)

The only plus point is there is 'sometimes' a large pre-owned selection if the staff are doing there jobs right and occasionally a decent trade in offer (£30 for AC:Brotherhood 2 weeks after launch). Just Keep your eyes open for the deals as in this case I imagine Fable is still £27.99 or more instore.

The worst thing about Game (and HMV are the same) in my opinion is the price fluctuation between stores. I work in London and the prices here are so much heftier than in Ipswich near where I live.
I remember I was going to buy a game that was £17.99 in my local, then went to the London one and it was £10 dearer!! And this is common across the whole store...it's ridiculous!

3/4 of a fantastic game, definately worth the £20 mark.

As a shareholder...I cannot tell you how wrong you are :(

for the years i was there the profits went from nine figures to eight and i'm guessing they have dropped again? its the wrong time to be shareholder in GAME, they only make big profits with the release of consoles.

I think that its about time they started to be more competitive in there pricings, the decisions that come down from the head office are 99% wrong or at least greedy, the staff are great most of the time, shame about the management!

Voted hot as its a good price, but im going to wait it'll no doubt hit £18 somewhere just before or just after Xmas so im happy to carry on waiting for now 8)
As for Game stores i do agree they are overpriced when you compare them to some of there online deals, but i suppose it's there loss as i never buy anything from there stores now and always tell people not to buy gift cards for me for there as im limited to instore only and at higher prices.

I'm the same. I put hours and hours into Fable 2 and loved it. From what I've read the game is a bit short, which is criminal for an RPG (even an action RPG!) and the King part lasts a couple of hours or so!

Going to wait for that £17.99 magic price!

+1 - GAME profits fell 12% this year. They're hoping the release of Kinect and PS Move will change that. Working there I can tell you that Kinect is absolutely flying off the shelves unlike PS Move which hasn't caught the eye of the casual market as well as i'm sure Sony had hoped.

Very good deal though, cheaper than buying it instore with my 25% staff discount!
