Maybe not the newest /greatest game around, but seemed to be a bit of a bargain to me. Instore they had many copies on the shelf.

The online servers for this will be taken down next Tuesday but still worth it for a crack at single player at £2.
#2
Demo was okay, definitely worth £2 for even the occasional two player match.
#3
Any game for xbox 360 is good value at that price.

Personally I'd rather pay a couple of quid more for Fight Night Round 3 though.
#4
Get's some awful reviews, but for £2, no worries.
#5
Wow nice price - just watch the online resellers march in and buy the lot - LOL

Well, not if you don't play it for more than 5 minutes, and you don't enjoy those 5 minutes.

Because then the value is, if anything, negative.

It's like that stupid phrase "You can't go wrong for £ X ".

Of course you can. If people didn't buy so much cr*p (cumulatively) they wouldn't keep getting into debt O_o

It seems cheap for an XBox game, but if it really is awful, it makes more sense to put the money towards something that will actually see some use.

Well said, annoys the hell outta me when my family etc buy crap

This should be considered as a 'night in with a few beers' game. Personally I've never played it, but it seems like good old basic fun which requires almost no thought whatsoever! And for £2, it's hot from me.

People spending like that is probably what is bringing our sorry state country out the recession, so well done for purchasing something for £2 that you feel might bring a benefit to your gaming.

Exactly, awful game or not, £2 is hardly gonna put you on the road to financial ruin.
#12
This game got online achievements ?
#13
Not the greatest game, but I had some good fun with it - reminded me of the hours I wasted on Ready to Rumble on my Dreamcast.

And many more moments of wanting to throw my controller through my telly when I was beaten again and again by Molotov.

Agreed. A low price tag should not bring your expectations down. If that was the case then expectations should go up for the higher priced games- which would mean that Modern Wafare 2 isn't worth the £40 for that laughable juxtoposition between the comical skidoo racing followed by the airport massacre.

Yeah it does. Online servers shut down next week though.

I still ain't opened my game but M$ should change terms but they let EA off as they are such a big publisher but m$ need to change criteria for achievements When any company especially EA close down servers without 30 days notice to anyone that has purchased the game (not possible I know unless you play the game register etc) or release a patch to allow anyone with game save of completed Single Player game to get full achievements or put system link into every game so full gamerscore is available over lan

I just went into my local HMV and it was priced at £12. I asked them to check price on their tills and it still came up as £12, so may only be regional.

It was announced about 6 weeks ago but only published throughout some of the gaming forums. I agree with you, EA are ***** and have a bad reputation now for glitched achievements and for closing the servers for many of their games, these ones are all closing next week -

Facebreaker
Madden 07
Nascar 09 (EU only)
NBA Live 07
NBA Street Homecourt
NCAA March Madness 07
NHL 07
UEFA Champions League 2006-2007

I purchased in Oxford St. branch - they had a few other XBOX 360 cheapies but the only other I remeber was £3 for "The Club".
#20
It can be fun playing against someone on the same machine, but keep in mind that a week from now that will be the ONLY way you can play another person.

I really hate seeing servers get shutdown, and it seems to be just EA that do it. There is a final attempt at the NBA Live 07 1000 people online achievement this weekend, as a final ever chance to get that achievement.

You're missing the point. It's the concept and the mentality, not the specific £2 that is going to push you over the edge.

I think most people are sensible enough not to bankrupt themselves with a single transaction :p

Paid a fiver for it last week, wish I hadn't! Load of tosh tbh, stupidly hard too! Never known AI so punishing, even on easy difficulties! Surprised I ain't thrown my controller at the wall yet! To the person who saw The Club for 3 quid, much better investment if u ask me!
#23
Absolutely terrible game which I actually got for free (promotional copy), and to be honest free is just about the most I'd be willing to pay for this =)
#24
None in Hull, is still part of the 2 for £30 offer...

Thanks :)
