Fahrenheit (xbox) 3.99 game @ Game

Great price for a brilliant game. I'm re-buying in anticpation for heavy rain.

"Fahrenheit, a spectacular interactive thriller, set in New-York, gives gamers the unique chance to play both hunter and fugitive, which in turn leads them to speak, explore, interact, fight and confront unknown dark forces."

Pre owned, but good price
#2
 Thanks for that.

mmmmmm .................. good price, but i'd be a bit dubious buying a pre-owned game from Game over the net, considering the state of some of the pre-owned games they've tried to sell me in store.

The best innovative game (after portal that is)

Has become a rare gem on the xbox, btw this will also play on the 360, after an update from live!
Been wanting to pick it up for a while, £3.99 seems a steal, but i have the same worrys about pre-owned from game too.
Anyone had pre-owned from them before on line?
#7
I have ordered about 20, it went alright 19/20 times. Up until now I've only received one game that was in pretty poor condition, it looked like someone tried to open the box with a knife rather than just opening the box.

It's a bit of a gamble, but it's a gamble you're likely to win. You won't be able to find it new anyway.

Yep, It was a ps3 game.
The disc was mint, but the box was tatty and had sticker marks on it.

Some baby oil and a cotton bud made quick work of the sticker marks though:thumbsup:

It is new and preowned on the website.
But it's £9.78 new

Great Game, looking forward to Heavy Rain!!
#11
Amazing game - buy it - you won't regret it!
#12
I may pick this up as I was actually considering buying it from Live recently, I think it costs around 800-1200 points on there though.

The game is superb by the way. :)
#13
If you havent played this - buy it.

Phenomenal game. Thanks OP, bought.
#14
One of the must underated games ever. Story line is brilliant you really do feel for the characters by the end of the game. As said above, buy it you will thank yourself for it.
#15
The game starts with so much promise but ventures into the deep dark depths of absurdity within about an hour of playing. I stuck it through to the end but most people I know sacked it off after what can only be described as 'giant green dustmite thingies' started to attack the lead protagonist in his office. And not to spoil the plot, but a ghost has sex with a police officer in the final act and the ending video shows her having the ghost's baby. This isn't a comedy game but it will have you in stitches. I would have recommended it back in 2005/06 but now I would say avoid it and wait for Heavy Rain (which David Cage promises to keep on the right side of realism).
#16
Yeah, this game deserves an oscar for plot degeneration. Good fun though.

it's true the ending was rushed..but it's still awesome :-D

Got this at Gamestation a couple of weeks back for 99p! Mind you, they had other copies at completely different prices, two were £1.99 and one for £2.99!? Pricing in Gamestation is always botched up like this for most games.
#19
Great game, worth a look at this price.
#20
one of my favourite xbox games of yester year, right up there with Fable and knights of the old republic my other personal favs.
#21
Think this is going out of stock soon.

As I just loaded the page and it was out of stock, refreshed a couple of minutes later and it's in stock.
Buy, Buy, Buy!!!

Hang on... an original Xbox game (not 360), for £3.99, pre-owned. Sounds crap to me
#23
Heat added - I had thi for xbox but just didn't get into it - very different and inovative game though.
#24
Hot and bought!!

Thats because you obviously know nowt about it.

This game doesnt come available very often at a lowish price, because no-one trades it in, and is a genuine classic.

Moreover its 1200 points on XBL, which is the same but without physical media.

Just bought this on live a while back and it's quite good but hardly the masterpiece everyone is making out. The interactive sex scene is spectacularly cringeworthy and sometimes the 'acting' is so bad that it's funny.
#27
I wanna see more games like this. I thought the story was great, as was the music. Very film-like.

out of stock now

Out of stock on game.co.uk

Gutted, think I just missed this one.

Excellent game and I'll keep refreshing in case they get more in. (Or cancelled orders)
For 3.99 this is bargain of the decade. :D
#30
It's an excellent game indeed. Some of the quick-time events are a bit tedious but overall 8/10.
#31
Fantastic game. £15 on the marketplace.
#32
Got my copy today. In near mint condition.

Strangely the receipt from the purchase of the previous owner was in the case, they paid £15 for it :o
#33
Just got mine but received no instruction manual with it :(
