A laid-off defense worker, kept from seeing his child on her birthday by a restraining order, looks at the landscape of moral decay in Los Angeles on one hot, congested day and, after being mugged, snaps. What follows is his bitter and pathetic mission of justice, vengeance and vindication that reads uncomfortably like too many news stories.

So £2.99 for a vanilla dvd - aside from the Director's commentary most extras are superfluous - and some Director's prefer the film to stand on it's own merits.

Don't forget topcashback, quidco

I couldn't care less for the extras that come with DVD's. I have a few films that are 2 disc special editions but I honestly have never bothered watching the 'extras' disc. The thought of watching behind the scenes/making of documentary or listening to cast commentaries etc bores me just thinking about it. I find the 'extras' are just an excuse to charge you more.
This is a really good movie and as I get older I find myself relating to it more and more.

Agreed. Who wants to hear the cast dribble on about how they all had such a great time working with so-and-so and how they'll all be sending each other a hamper at Christmas and the moment they read the script for the very first time they immediately rang their agent and told them that they just had to star in the film, blah, blah, blah. Ruddy lovies.
