I've never seen it in store and it was out of stock for awhile on the website. Thought it was worth a post as its a good price and with the new DLC coming out tomorrow.

The pc version barely works and the 360 has a few bugs.
I hope they fix it quickly.

I paid £24.99 for the lunch box version with the bobble head figurine before Xmas at Gamestation when they were doing that deal. Great game but is this deal the version with the cheap and nasty looking brotherhood figurine that was exclusive to GAME?

I wish they had brought out the US boxset version with the PitBoy Alarm clock! Now that would make me want to buy the game again!

Oh I thought this was the tin Collector's Edition so I cancelled my order with Game. I like it when websites let you do that!

I grabbed it on Tuesday morning for the 360 and played it for a couple of nights - haven't noticed anything yet? Where are the bugs being reported?

EDIT: just read the comments on MajorNelson.com - looks like achievements aren't being unlocked properly.

You joking????? In my opinion this is one of the best games to come out on the Xbox, i enjoyed this game so much, completeing all the side missions. Dont get me wrong it took me a while to get into this game, but when i did i couldnt put it down.

I know everyone is entitlted to their opinion, but yours is wrong LOL

The retail Add-on pack (The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage) is due for release on the 29th May in the UK, so I think it'll be a little while before you'll see a copy with all three DLCs on it.

heat added, but wheres the lunch box for £20 everyone seems to have got?
#22
Good deal I guess! But as much as I would love the lunchbox, I think my office colleagues might think I'm a bit odd (assuming my sandwiches fit of course).

Apparently some US stores leaked a fothcoming retail disc that had DLC 3 and 4 on and then they quickly removed it from their sites. The fourth DLC was actually named Point Lookout or something. Unofficial but credable.

Then I would expect a GOTY edition some time next year with all 4 DLC and also on PS3.

Bethesda has today announced plans to develop at least two new batches of downloadable content for Fallout 3, as well as an update that will finally make the existing downloadable content for the game available to PlayStation 3 gamers.

Bethesda claims that the new PlayStation 3 update should help make all existing and forthcoming DLC available for the platform and that Sony should be putting the update out very soon - though there's not release date available just yet. Likewise, the new downloadable content packs (which will be available for every platform) haven't got exact release dates either, though we do have some initial details.

The first of the two DLC packs will be called Point Lookout and should introduce an entirely new area of swampland to the gameworld. There's no single plotline for the area that's yet been announced, but Bethesda promises that it'll be littered with new quests and content. Set to cost 800 MS points on Games For Windows Live and Xbox Live, the pack should be available in late June, with a PS3 date not yet revealed.

The second DLC is to be called Mothership Zeta and will focus on the return of the aliens to the Fallout universe, with players getting abducted and taken aboard the titular mothership. Again, it'll cost 800 MS points on PC and Xbox 360, with a release in late July and an unannounced PS3 release date.

On top of these announcements, Bethesda also plans to have the DLC packs available in shops soon enough, along with a Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition in October. The first of two add-on packs will bundle Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt and will be available on June 12th. The second will put together Broken Steel and Point Lookout and should ship in August for Xbox 360 and PC.

Interestingly, Bethesda says it will not be making versions of these add-on packs available in shops for the PS3, though the Game of the Year edition will bundle all DLC and will be available for PS3. Elsewise you'll have to pick up the DLC individually over PSN, it seems.
