Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition £5.09 from Steam
Not quite as cheap as it was in the Steam sale but still at a decent discount.
Also FO:NV Ultimate Edition for £10.19

Doesn't matter as I already have a DVD copy, but all a bit weird.

yeah was £3.75 in the summer sale still a good price now though!
Maybe it's about character projection. I can empathise with a game character just so long as they're not too outlandish. For some reason (probably because I'm an agnostic atheist), I simply cannot get spells, dragons, wizards and suchlike. If it's impossibly unreal it just does't work for me. I suspect people who like Sword and Sorcery stuff are either new-age, spiritual or downright religious. I prefer giant scorpions and muscular beasts who kind of function within the laws of physics. Poisoned by a Radioactive scorpion, I get that. Toasted by a dragon...nah. I don't like space games for the same reasons...noisy explosions in space, I ask you.

Great game, great price (so good I've bought it THREE times on various platforms).

You think people like fantasy RPG's because they're new age hippies?
Well I've read it all now.

Well that's certainly the weirdest quote I've read in a while! The world in fallout is just as mental as the games you mention huge mutants slug things with tentacles hanging out there mouth aliens cows with 2 heads etc.

Sorry, I got confused to when the deal was posted and when it got hot, it got hot after the deal wasn't actually the daily deal but hadn't expired
