Good price, but if you can get the GOTY edition from Price Minister (Gzoop) for £10.89 (£15.89 - £5 new customer code) then thats a better option. The price goes up and down but it is £15.89 for both PS3 & Xbox at the moment. I signed up and got emailed a £5 off code, but I think there are one or 2 codes knocking about.

Can anyone confirm something for me?

I borrowed the Xbox GOTY edition off a friend and installed both the first and second disc. I understand the second disc is the one with the 5 expansion packs.

If I buy this regular version, will I still be able to access all the extra content because I have the files installed on my Xbox HDD?

I'd recommend staying away from the vanilla version if you think you'll be buying the DLC. There's 5, which in total come to much more than the game itself at this price.

"best price yet" is very debatable seeing as I got this game for PS3 exactly a year ago for the same price...

Should work. I have the original and borrowed the DLC disk also, all seems fine :)

You can get GOTY for this price I think. Old game now as well so £9+ seems about right.

I think you can get the GOTY edition for a similar price

Ugh, so buggy on the ps3, never had so many problems with a game before.
But good price if you're not going for the expansions, I suppose.

Great game. Helped me conquer my addiction to the campers wet dream that is MW2. Played almost 80 hours so far and still got loads more to do.

Lol, I'm the opposite. Recently bought MW2 to curb my Fallout 3 addiction :)

One of the best games of all time but go for the GOTY edition there is another 40 hours worth of gameplay in there at least. Its been available for £13 before now.

Also its another poor pc / 360 port for the ps3 full of glitches and has inferior graphics and frame rate. If you have another option use it for this one.

There is over 150 hours game play in the goty edition much more if you want to do 2 play through good evil, male female etc....

Is the PS3 GOTY edition REALLY as buggy as many reviews suggest? It's often stated as practically unplayable on the additional content?

I loved the original and want to get the DLC but I'm loathe to chance the GOTY PS3 edition, even though it's a big saving. Is the DLC when downloaded any more stable than the GOTY edition content on PS3?

Yes... I had the original version, crashed a few times and lagged a bit without the expansions. Got the expansions and it was near enough unplayable in the pitt, constant lag, crashing, random glitches. Such a shame as well, it was a fun game, but I just couldn't put up with it anymore.

Thanks. Also had the occasional glitch on the original version (slows down then crashes - maybe twice during my whole weeks of solid play, get stuck in the scenery sometimes, nothing game spoiling).

Are you talking about the GOTY edition or the individual DLC?

I have the original and added DLC individually, I've heard that GOTY is even worse than the individual. They won't be patching or fixing it any time soon either.
