Seriously good deals to be had.

I'm totally geeking out at this.

Could people please recommend some games? I get that a lot of these are classics but all nostalgia aside - which would be enjoyable to play in this day & age?

Some say that Freespace & Freespace 2 are the best space action sim to date, and it's definitely a classic worth getting

Both MDK games are awesome 3rd person shooters. Very surreal.

fallout tactics for 3 dollars?! did anyone ever manage to make it work with xp for multiplayer purposes?

Fallout 2 best game ever still brilliant now just make sure to get all the patches including the children patch. The children were taken out from the european version, well the sprites we're, they still we're able to pick pocket you in towns jsut you couldnt see them.
Good fallout site here http://www.nma-fallout.com/

Definitely getting both the Freespaces, used to have the first until the cd cracked, and couldn't find any torrents. Was brilliant, worth getting for anyone who's even a slight fan of space games.

haha fallout 2 was awesome, worst was when you killed the invisible children by accident and instantly everyone hated you.
#11
Great selection of games, though I still have my original disks for most of these.

Jinxed + Supersledge + rat = exploding rat that flies back 9 metres :D

earthworm jim 2 is my latest acquisition. On the super nintendo. Boxed. AKA the real deal

Many bargains to be had in this sale, I didnt want to buy too many, so limited myself to a few, but then kept going back for a few more, then a few more. I use Windows 7 64bit and all Ive tried so far work, they are supposed to be updated to work with current O.S's.

Those of you wanting freespace, just get the second and use the Freespace Open mod and it'll get you the entire first games missions and assets in the second game.

I also recommend the MDK, series and fallout games. Tactics is avoidable tbh. Oh and kingpin is fantastic too. Oh and giants. And maybe Messiah. Erm... Descent too.... damn, just get nigh everything!

GOG have recently added Magic Carpet........BUY IT!!!!

MAGIC CARPET!!!!

Looks as if I am the only one that loved Giants - Citizen Kabuto and Sacrifice then ?

I'll recommend them anyway, particularly Giants for any that missed it. Sacrifice is a little sureal so needs to be up your street I guess.

Never played em in the old days, but liked the reviews so bought them a few days ago.

Fallouts 1 & 2 are amazing.
GoG are thegood guys in the fight against DRM too, they deserve gamers support. None of this spore-like 5 installs & internet activation or any of that rubbish here.
Quality games at really cheap prices, Hot!

Don't go for Castles, I remember once, many many tears ago, spending 4 weeks playing on max speed elapsed (still took 4 weeks to complete), fending off invasions, raising taxes, etc, etc, expecting a big finish, then being dumbfounded to get a screen with my 'ratings' displayed (bad king, people hate you, etc, etc) for 60 seconds before the credits rolled.

Still not fully over it now oO

Magic Carpet and Jagged Alliance 2 are great games!!! Very hot deal!oO

Do these run okay in Win XP? I get so annoyed buying classic games only to find I need Win95 and they just won't run properly:(

From their website on the about us page " All games are Vista and XP compatible." all Ive tried so far work on Windows 7 64bit for me, though according to the forums some people have trouble on Windows 7 with certain games. Plus no DRM so you can transfer to a new computer with no probs.
