Just got this as I had £5 on my Game card. Nice find and only cost me £4.98 :D

Ordered this a month or so ago on a deal fro £13.99. Awesome game apparently - can't say this myself as it has so many glitches and bugs its unbeleivable. Never managed to get it to run yet. After wasting about 2 days on fixs, patches, altering .ini files, running in various compatibilty modes it now sits in the cupboard as the first game i've bought (and theres been a lot) that i've never managed to get to work!!! So damn annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the original Fallout via Steam, never got it to run past the intro so a complete waste of money. So I won't be buying this one, too much hassle.

Superb game, plays fine on two computers, with differing setups, graphics cards, sound chips. At this price most people cannot afford not to get it. Heat added

the 1.2 patch that came out mid dec pretty much fixed everything.

delete it, and reinstall / redownload it. or veryfy the integrity of the game cache and it should sort itself out.

great game and now patched well - Never buy Steam based games (ie those that install to steam from disk) from Steam - always better to get from retail (another example would be Civ 5) - best of both worlds - retail cheapness quickly and then the game in steam in perpetuity :)

great price - I paid £30. crap game though.

FO3 was alot better

But you can't quibble at this price.

What? You mean the original that was made in the 90's? What in the blue hell does that have to do with running a game made in 2010?

well reviewers agree with the poster that this game was sawrming with bugs

as another example of bad programming - ive spent 2 ruddy days trying to get BFBC2 and BFBC2 vietnam to work, due to ridiculous security and bad programming, if these developers want us to buy their games, stop putting so much ruddy security in it, it doesnt work, the pirates get around it regardless and only those who bought it suffer, im getting to the point where i may as well just pirate, against my principles but developers and publishers are forcing me down that route

i tried everything, even reinstalling etc, after finally getting hold of EA support it worked after 15 mins, funny that!!

I get you there but he was comparing Fallout 1 to NV as if they had the same problems. No mention of seeing bugs posted about NV.
#22
and to repeat the game has been heavily patched now - so no longer a worry
#23
Bargain! :D
#24
Bought thanks. Mate has this and never had any problems with it. The d3d9.dll trick got it running smoothly no problem and he never got far enough before the patches to run into any bugs.
