I got one of these yesterday and is a quality toilet seat and great for little ones with smaller bums :)
The smaller seat fits flush into the lid when not in use and the fittings are a shiney chrome that cant be seen in the picture.
Material - MDF.

Extra lid for child use.

Complete with chrome hinges

Good deal, thanks

These are great for toilet training. Completely trained our 2 year old in a week on one of these.

These things are great in theory but even at this price I'll have to vote this one cold - the build quality of the Argos seat is terrible - I bought one of these at full price back in the summer and within a month the weld that connects the screws for the seat hinge to the toilet base had given way :( - if you need one its probably better to look elsewhere.

Well myself and my husband were very impressed with the quality, we were expecting alot worse for £7.99, i've paid alot more for poorer quality seats in the past. I recently paid £7 for a little padded seat that fits on to my old toilet seat for training my son but it slides all over the place so this seat even if it only lasts a few months (though i think it will last alot longer) is safer and the same price as a unfitted trainer seat

I have found the build quality very good. Its MDF so is one piece.

Can anyone tell me if the brackets are two individual round ones or one long pole? I'm forever changing toilet seats with the two individual ones, they last about 2 months in our house, damn kids!

we unfortunately bought that one and whilst it is robust its way too heavy....and has several times almost knocked out my daughter the other day.....even though its been fitted correctly, it has a design fault where the seat easily falls down...so its rubbish imo...we'll replace it with this one which i suspect my be cheaper build but hopefully it will be lighter

so can this be used as a normal adult toilet seat as well? as we need one in our spare bathroom

Yes! The child seat just lifts up and theres a latch that holds it safley into the lid if its not in use

none in stock by me :(

This is a bargain for £7.99. I bought two of these when they were reduced to £9.99 a few weeks ago and fitted them last week. They are a much better quality than I imagined them to be, and as a previous post has said they are £30 + in Mothercare and at other online baby retailers. Voted hot. Thanks OP.

sounds good, just reserved one.

Out of stock Bolton, Wigan and Leigh. Voted hot though for the lucky ones that get them!

Sounds like you got a good one :)

Its a great idea and my youngest finds it very useful - but the bracket broke almost immediately on ours - the latch to hold the mini-seat up went not long after. Sometimes Argos is very good for the price - I just feel that on this occasion the quality was lacking.

got one this morning had to drive all the way to rotherham as everyone else locally is out of stock,
The hinge seems a little flimsy but for £7.99 its a very good seat
