I'm getting very dubious about Choices 99p deals ... you can't just buy the one .. so should even the 99p deals be priced at £2.50?

You can't just buy this dvd for 99p can you ????

Which doesn't actually make this deal very special and actually works out a better deal, if you actually want to trust either company ......

and actually, it isn't just £2.50 for free delivery it's minimum order value £2.50 to proceed to checkout ...

Not a dig at the OP but at the way the company works ... advertising prices that you can't actually buy at ... trading standards anyone ???

It states on their front page `Minimum order value £2.50`. So where are they misrepresenting anything?

What a tit... The cost of p+p for a dvd is at least 80p so spending £2.50 to get it free represents great value. I have never had a problem with this company and their dvds and games represent amazing value. In summary get a life and stop winging about a great deal.. Heat from me.

I`ve no idea why you`ve quoted me. Is it meant to be funny?

Can someone at HotUKdeals please now stop people posting Choices deals! Every second day someone puts a 49p or 99p dvd/CD on here as if its some brilliant new deal they've just discovered.. Soon we'll have the entire stock listed! Surely everyone must know by now you have to spend £2.50 minimum, also that many of the items are not new but 2nd hand even though they are listed as new.

No, as this is a deals website. If they stop people posting deals they`ll need to change the name to HotUK, which might attract entirely the wrong kind of clientele. :{

Well, if everyone is aware of the £2.50 minimum spend it isn`t a problem, is it?

also that many of the items are not new but 2nd hand even though they are listed as new.

Can I ask how many items you have purchased from them which were listed as new but turned out to be second hand?

I ordered half a dozen of their clearance dvds recently, and though the cases weren`t perfect (looked like they had been sitting in storage for a while) none of them were used.

That said, the people I`ve seen on here who have received duff goods and complained seem to have got it sorted out, while others seem to have grumbled on here but not contacted the company, which is just daft.
