Very good price as elsewhere this is £104 to £150

Features series one to eight of the animated TV comedy. The programme is based around the Griffin family, comprised of bumbling, well-intentioned father Peter; his sweet but oblivious wife Lois; and their teenagers, dim-witted Chris and awkward Meg. The most recognisable characters, however, remain the family's masterminds: evil genius baby Stewie, determined to achieve complete world domination at the age of one, and Brian, an erudite martini-swilling dog, the family's lone voice of reason.

Should be £79.99 then?

TBH seaons 1-7 are £8.99 each now at HMV (£62.93), so your paying £27.06 for the new season 8,which is terrible. Sorry but cold.

I was going to say exactly the same, they are milking as much money as they can get by simply sticking them together and charging extra - cold

Season 1-4 are available for about £35 and are the only ones worth watching anyway. The last few seasons have been painfully unfunny and "Bird is the Word" is not a valid retort to that comment.

Yeah was thinking the same thing, better picking them up seperately when they're on offer. Might be worthwhile as a present but if your buying it for yourself i'd wait for the deals

This can't be complete, season 8 is still being broadcast for the first time in America?

Isn't this like American Dad where the British version called 'season 1' was actually only half of 'season 1' in America? Then 'season 2' dvd over here was just the second half of season 1?
#13
giggedy giggedy!
#14
Yeah, we r only up2 episode 3 or 4 of season 8 so how can this be?!?!
#15
Need to point out this does NOT include Season 8, its the UK distributors playing round with names. What they're classing as Season 8 is the last half of Season 6 & First half of season 7. Season 8 is only just showing in the states now - it started on the 29th Sept & we're only 3 episodes in (4 including tonights)
Play are doing the same with their advertising for it too but if you compare their episode listing against the listings on epguides.com you'll see the real story.

You can watch them get progressively better up to Series 5 then steadily get terrible from then on. Still, it's commissioned for another 4 seasons making Seth McFarlane a billionaire so someone still likes them :)

edit: Time to change the Stewie avatar, good times, good times :)

I honestly think the episodes are getting better season by season. The characters are all evolving and just getting funnier.
