Complete series 1-8 pre-order of the fantastic Family Guy, released 9th November.

Next cheapest price is £106 at Amazon, Play and HMV

£90 = just £11.25 per series, not bad considering that the cheapest price for series 8 alone (released on the same day) is currently £16.88 and most of the individual seasons retail for between £13-16.

I for one do not see the point in buying 'complete' series until the show has actually ended. Anyone else agree? You end up with a lovely boxed set then two or three extras next to it.

I couldnt agree more, I have never bought a box set of a series that has not finished and I dont intend to as it feels like a waste

These won't come out on blu-ray, they don't exist in HD. Simpsons has gone HD for the latest series but I don't think family guy has yet.

the next star wars parody will be on bluray

They really don't need to be in HD. Upscaling these types of shows if more than ample.

Don't know why this has been expired, it's still available for pre-order at this price?

Whats the point of HD cartoons anyway?? Its a cartoon. HD is to increase realism - ITS A CARTOON!
