well worth getting, i got one and have saved a small fortune when fetching my daughter who lives 50 miles away
#3
Discount also valid with Young Persons (16-25) card!

Shame these savings dont apply to the young persons rail card

Although it does save me an awful amount of money, around £80 on a trip to london and back!

Just checked the Hotel prices, they don't actually seem any cheaper (one of these cons whereby its 25% off the 'Fullest Most Flexible Most Expensive' Rate perhaps?

Registering for a Bite Card is a good idea though if you travel by train a lot, & you don't need any card or season ticket to do that (saves me 20% off a Pastie quite often!!!)

if you are booking in advance do you still get the discount i.e. on trainline.co.uk or is the discount only on full price tickets?
Thanks

yeah if you go through the order process you will have the option to select which rail card you have.

worth noting that some tickets still have minimum fares set and you can't use railcards for cheaper travel before 9:30am

Thanks for posting, voted hot, but the 20% bite card you don't need to have the rail card for - you can just apply anyway.
