£8 - £10 elsewhere. Great calendar.

The 17-month calendar that keeps Mum and the whole family organised, Mum's Family Calendar marries the organisational powers of a planner with the utter cuteness of Sandra Boynton's animal characters- those lovable hippos and cows, pigs, chickens, and dogs hopping, dancing, and skipping through the grids. The grids run vertically, with five columns across the top (one for each family member) and the days of the month running down the left-hand side. There's plenty of room to write in every person's activities for each day, and Mum and Dad can easily see who's doing what, when. Includes a drop-down storage pocket, 500 stickers, and a write-on, wipe-off magnetic phone list to hang on the fridge. This is Family Central, with a big Boynton smile.

They're implying that Mums work really really hard an manage to fit 17 month's 'work' into just 12.

Total crap of course.

Great calendar, which runs the academic year, and then onto the New Year. I've got it and it's great. It starts in August though.

Mine are a bit older now but I always wanted an academic year one of these. Thry don't exist.

Most buying these have kids at school. You get all the kids holidays for the year, put them on calendar. Make a note of next year's activities then cannot find them in January when you need to enter all the info again. Only needs to be done once in a academic planner.

Just amazes me that you can buy academic diaries, wall planners (too business like for home) etc but not a nice proper calendar. Would also be ideal for all teachers in their home. When my kids were small, the year was Aug to Aug, not January.

Huge market also for students who often get bought photo / pop band calendars, academic year ones would be far more useful for them. Some school PTA's have made ones for their school (which has all hols etc already in) and sell them to raise funds. Great but not if you have kids at more than one school.

I managed with 18 month calendars, most of which were USA / Canadian, with all their holidays on. Really irritating that UK cannot provide family calendars / organisers that run the academic year........One for Dragon's Den oO
