IT COULD BE A GREAT GETAWAY FOR SOME FAMILIES WHO CANT AFFORD A EUROPEAN HOLIDAY AND NEED A BREAK.

Silver Birch and Golden Oak have free heated outdoor hotubs included in the price.

These cheaper prices are only available around November-February for the winter breaks. Grant you, summer prices are expensive but if you are just looking for a winter break before or after Xmas...then this is ideal.

The Golden Oak cabins also have all bedding, towels, slippers, robes and a Wii for the kids. We have booked a Golden Oak in Argyll with the kids in January as part of their Xmas present and they cant wait. I have also booked a cabin for mum and dad as well as their xmas present and they are thrilled.

All cabins are Pet Free or Pet Friendly and have a log burner.
Sites are

looks good did this offer last year but I can never find dates I want

Looks good and voted hot.

One thing I hate is people telling me how to vote... or pleas to not vote cold for whatever reason. Personally I would be more inclined to vote cold if someone tells me not to.

Just so you know..... it will get peoples backs up.

Read it properly.......£18 per cabin for up to 3 dogs...not per dog!! So I think that is fair. £6 a night for up to 3 dogs....would you rather pay for a kennel for them for much, much more than that????? I think your doggies deserve paying a feeble £18 for a lovely long weekend running about in the forest and lying by the log fire!

Point taken and edited. Its just that if someone hates the company or the deal, they vote cold regardless and I think its unfair, as when it goes cold for that reason alone, some people who are genuinely looking for this sort of deal are put off. Thank you for you comment anyway.

I dont agree. I never look for temparatur when I decide whether to purchase something.

Voting is completely over-rated. Cold votes wont get your post on the front pages, so what. If you provide good information, someone will get something out of your post, no matter if it's gone hot or cold. The only people who loose out are those who have set their preference to "HOT" and not "NEW". But they have choosen their limit.

Are you looking at 2010 or 2011....the price for this November is £130 for a 2 bed evergreen. See below on a quick search I have just done!

Your search for Any Cabin Type at Deerpark Cabins for a 3 Nights break on 19/11/2010 returned the following:

Deerpark Cabins
The Cabins at Deerpark are nestled around an old millpond and surrounded by forest. Set deep within a wooded valley, Deerpark is just seven miles from Cornwall’s rugged south coast.

One thing i hate is when people get all mardy and vote cold for no reason other than because the OP asked people to vote honestly.

Just to let you know, it gets peoples backs up

I went with my other half to Deerpark last year through a deal on here with a discount code.
We were originally booked into a Silver Birch and they called us up to say we were double booked and put us into a 'Golden Oak' cabin which was 'pet friendly'.

I was a bit anxious about being in a cabin that had had animals in it previously - but my fears were allayed when I arrived and everything was clean and ship-shape. You would never had known that they had animals in there.

We chose to order the food pack of local food (bacon. sausages, apple juice, butter etc) upon arrival - lovely staff - on your first morning you meet up - say hello (do a duck race) and chose to do ranger activities (should you wish). We weren't particularly fussed with this so we went back to our cabin and made our own days out and walks.

We had no phone reception - but that was bliss. There was a basic LCD tv, a Wii.... and pièce de resistance - a HOT TUB! (Checked daily by staff and chlorinated). No nightlife as such in the evenings but that didn't bother us as we were on a wind-down - we weren't after a Butlins/Centre Parcs and thank goodness these places aren't!

Here is a photo I took from the lounge overlooking our balcony, next to the hottub with the river passing underneath us. It was quite magical. (sorry about the pic!)

No. The cabins are superbly equipped, but the concept here is that these are away from it all quiet retreats in the middle of nowhere. On site facilities are limited to essentials only ie they're not Center Parcs or holiday resorts.

None of them have swimming pools. Its not like centre parcs...these are in the forest with no entertainment or pools ......just a forest and hot cabin to chill out in. Not for anyone wanting loads of activities. Book 3 times as much with Centre parcs if you are looking for that sort of thing.

Hi, brilliant thank you! Just booked. I ended up ringing as the site kept freezing on me. I was trying to book a Golden Oak cabin as a xmas/birthday present, then when the page refreshed they appeared to have sold out! However, when I rang up they had a few left. So if anyone is having trouble getting the cabin they want might be worth ringing. (I got straight through aswell) They gave me the 2.5% discount.

Excellent spot. I remember this form last year. I can't imagine anything more magical than spending New Year or Christmas with a big group of friends out in the wilds and woods. On the balcony in the hot tub drinking champagne by a loch in the snow.

Yeah I had a few issues with the web site but managed to get a mid week break in December. Have to wrap up warm :)

I went to Keldy (by myself in the end!) and it was snowing like mad.. ended up unhinging my back bumper on the car going up the hills and through the snow, but was worth it in the end. Just spent four days seeing York, family and getting high in the hot-tub. No or barely any mobile reception either, which I liked!
