We were after a quick and easy to operate coffee maker, but didn't want to be tied to capsule manufacturers.

This machine grinds beans, froths milk and dispenses a perfect drink with the press of one button.

Very simple to maintain too.

Amazon are currently selling it at at least £150.00 cheaper than I have seen it elsewhere.

Item costs £599.99 via the link, so maybe this deal has already expired? Also, I like how it's "perfect partner" is the Simpsons movie. Buy both now!

price £599 or is the link wrong?

It's gone up in price now.

showing as 399.99 now :-)

The price has fluctuated a bit during the night. This is still a great price when compared to similar machines or the cost/cup of capsules.

you have to make a lot of cups of coffee before this works out cheaper than a capsule machine (£50 or so) and supermarket own-brand capsules that fit (5 for a quid at sainsburys if memory serves). desent coffee is about 10p per serving, so at a saving of 10p per cup you're up to 3,500 cups before this is a cheaper device :)

probably makes nicer coffee though

Thats only a year then, and the coffee is much nicer.

I was actually thinking more of decent capsules, such as Nespresso, which are £0.25 a piece.

If you order it at £599 or whatever the Amazon price guarantee will refund you if it drops within 30days of purchase .

The original hot deal was this machine at £349, but it went up to £600 and now is £399 as it was through yule.

Still great value at only £2o more than the EAM3200

Seriously considering one of these but cant really justify it  I need a kettle as well - I'm guessing this machine could give me boiling water?? If it does then I guess I would save a little on the kettle!!! Was going to co for a Dulce Gusto @ around £70 so this is a fair bit more. The fact it has shot up £50 is also putting me off a little. Hmmmmm decisions decisions

There's the Morphy Richards 47507 machine which Amazon have at £50 right now. I have the older version of this & have ordered 1 for a present, it's not automatic or anything like the DeLonghi but should be good if it's anything like the 1 i have.
