Has been this price since before xmas in the preowned sale, I managed to get the tin version for the same price.

Game any good?

I picked this up for this price just after Christmas.

I was in Derby store today and they still had a couple on the shelves.

No. Sadly, it's not IMHO. The maps are just too big, the constant re-spawning really got annoying.

But for a fiver its a really good buy, for +£20 maybe not so much.

I agree with that. Nice to play for a while, but WAY too big maps means it takes forever to get from one place to another. Pretty good online, but nowhere close to CoD or even Halo.

It's awesome. 85% on Metacritic. Nothing like COD or Halo - it offers something a bit different - a realistic, persistent open world with a day/night cycle, African wildlife and unpredictable weather. A unique game - massively under-appreciated.

I have to say I didn't like this game. The maps are very big and very empty.

Think fallout 3, but nothing to look at or do as you travel from point to point.

However, for a fiver you might like it. Once the action starts it is pretty good

I hated it, you have to spend far too much time getting to missions than actually doing them. There are far too many random bad guys who spawn out of nowhere and try and kill you while you're just driving around minding your own business. The AI is so terrible, even the factions you are working for will try and kill you!

Amen to that. Excellent game if you can persevere with it. Tough as nails too!

Coincidently, I'm playing this game right now.
I've completed it once already but I love it.

It's a love it or hate it game I think.

I've just set up my Xbox 360 with my surround sound and it's goooood.

Anyway, buy this game.
I'm tempted at this price, so I can give it to people and spread the word about how awesome the game is.

I think at £5 you can't go wrong, so I'll be popping to my local to pick one up

H&R added.

* EDIT *

Have been to my local, its £7.99 there, so I didn't bother in the end. I think £5 would be a fair price to pay for this game pre-owned.

My bf got one for this price in Manchester just after Xmas and he loves it (it has even steered him away from COD for a bit!)

I don't understand why this game gets slated so much. I haven't played it personaly but I haven't read a bad review of it. FOr a fiver I'm going to try it out. I'm a big fan of open sandbox games like Red Faction, Saints Row 2 etc. So what the hell
