Good price, heat added. Just a shame that there's no originality in title names i.e. insane , vengeance, ressurection etc.

Nope. Just tired it. The code doesn't expire until 23/09/12.

Tells me: We're sorry, you cannot use this voucher.

What am I doing wrong? New customers only or summit?

Far Cry 2 was painfully bad... what made them think a 3rd was a good idea??

It was bad, though I didn't find it quite as bad as some. I guess the new one could be okay, but one thing is for sure, I won't be pre-ordering this one like I did with the 2nd, I'll wait until its released and I hear if its any good.
#15
The previews look promising, but I do feel like i'm taking a gamble.
#16
Good deal... if you liked Far Cry 2. I hated it and felt like I was robbed of 30 quid.

The code expired last Sunday. Probably should have put that in the description.

Anyone just got a cancellation email?

Thank you for shopping with Sainsbury’s Entertainment.

Unfortunately, due to a supplier issue, we are unable to fulfil your order for Far Cry 3: Insane Edition, and have cancelled your order. We’re very sorry for this inconvenience.
#21
Hi Zaim2012, yes I had the same e-mail. They have given me a voucher code to get £5 off something else, but to be frank that doesn't cut it for me. The cheapest I can find is on shopto for £37.85.
#22
Same here, thing is though I'm having a hard time finding the Insane edition, shop to net show it as Back order, something tells me they've scrapped the insane version, I've noticed there's a Digital Deluxe edition out now.

Far Cry 3: The Lost Expeditions Edition is £27.99 atm from sainsburys (£22.99 with code), but for the same price you can buy the digital deluxe from Greenmangaming, problem is you need to use capsule to download the game, already got steam and origin, don't want another one.

http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/shooter/far-cry-3-deluxe-edition/

Still not sure what to do.

Absolute crap, just got the e-mail from sainsburys too. And I didn't use a code. Why do they even have it on there if a few days before launch they're gonna cancel everyones.

Yep, I've used the code given in the email to order this:

Not a bad price although I'm thinking the extra £5 for the DLC that comes with the Deluxe Edition on GMG might be worth it. I've got no interest in a box as it'll just sit on a shelf collecting dust no doubt. Shame there's no version on Steam here in the UK yet...

Hmm true but I don't like the idea of using capsule.

I think you'll need Uplay in order to play this game. It's similar to Steam and Origin, so you won't be able to escape having to install third party software unfortunately.

This is correct. I don't use capsule for anything else but I dont really mind giving it a whirl, GMG are a pretty good company from my experience. Just preordered with them, £28 isn't bad with all that DLC.

yeah but you have to use Capsule to download the game, I assume the key is stored on that too.

Idk I've been having a look and the dlc the deluxe comes with doesn't seem all that.

That isn't good timing by Sainsburys. I don't think they have scrapped the Insane Edition as I ordered it on Amazon back in June. Strangely however the item is unavailable to purchase any more, not sure if it's supposed to be a limited edition or they are pulling the edition. Edit: My order is showing as having a delay. Hm.

I bit the bullet and decided to buy this off the Ubisoft site - it seems to be the only place selling it. As I had a £10 voucher code from buying AC3, I have bought it for £39.99.

To add insult to injury, Sainsbury wrote to me again:

"We're getting in touch to confirm that an item you ordered recently from
Sainsbury's Entertainment has been cancelled by the warehouse.

At the time of ordering, we believed this product was available, however we have subsequently been made aware that this product is no longer obtainable from our suppliers.

Please contact our Customer Services Helpline if you require further information."
