Been waiting to buy the complete series for what seems forever. This new complete set was released only a few months ago (17 November 2009) in the US and contains pretty much EVERYTHING except the Peacekeeper Wars mini-series (due to rights issues).

- 88 episodes and 15 hours of bonus features on 26 discs
- Farscape Undressed: The home-video premiere of the rarely seen, long-sought-after behind-the-scenes special
- Three archival documentaries: "In the Beginning: A Look Back with Brian Henson," "Making of a Space Opera," and "Season Three: A Look Back with Executive Producer David Kemper"
- Three Inside Farscape featurettes: Villains, Visual Effects, and Save Farscape
- 31 audio commentaries
- Deleted scenes, director's cut scenes, and an alternate version of the season 2 premiere
- Behind-the-scenes interviews with the characters, cast, and creative team of Farscape
- Listening in with composer Guy Gross featurettes for 12 episodes
- Original TV promos and more

Cost was £38.58 and then £4.16 with cheapest international shipping; so a total of £42.74

Received and had to pay £15.14 to RM so a total price of £57.88
Frelling fantastic!

"This obviously does not include any import duty, which at 17.5% would be a possible £7.48 (so a possible total of £50.22)."

plus another £9 added by the royal mail to collect that vat!

Still cheaper than you'll find it in the UK.

I can't even find it for sale in the UK but, even if it was available, this set is better than the 'Ultimate' edition due to all the extras.

great series, great price

UK version was over 100 quid for ages, i think it was deleted in the end.

I waited so long that it got deleted! I haven't seen the final season or the PK wars yet so am super excited about finally seeing them more than a decade later.

The reason why it has been so expensive over here is because it has been out of production that version for a long time. The company that owned the rights went bust and from then on they have been trying to secure the rights back.

That's why the new version is out in R1 only at the moment I believe as they are slowly but surely getting there. Hopefully it'll come R2 soon enough and a Blu-ray version would be awesome.

Very good TV show and well worth watching.

Good spot, Heat added...

is this something i'd enjoy ? watched BSG and loved it, which led me on to Babylon 5, which took some time but now i'm into season 3 and really enjoying that also...was just wondering what to line up to watch next and i keep seeing Farscape's name pop up....

this seems quite a niche thing so i'll post it here for you fans rather than a separate deal

I loved BSG and I love this... Farscape is a great Sci-Fi series, like BSG it's a bit grittier than things like Star Trek. It also has an several-series-long story arc (much like BSG).

£50 (if you end up paying that) is a great price for 4 series and two feature length episodes.

You might want to look at Firefly too, as that's another good SciFi series that (unfortunately) got cancelled.

Will totally echo this; Farscape is a brilliant series with a focus on the characters. It's the interactions between them that make this a killer series - even the 'good' guys are unpredictable and you are never sure if they have their own agenda.

Brilliant series tragically cut short.

Oh, and Firefly is just extraordinary - a must watch.
