Voted hot as this seems good for those interested and it doesn't seem right that the temperature is cold.

Trying to lose weight and you're all talking about hot cod. Right, I'm off down the chippy.....

Fat metaboliser? Just follow the simple logic that if you consume more than you burn, then you will gain weight. And the other way, consume less than you burn, and you will lose weight!

All these fads - people just try to make things easier, but it gets no easier than simply exercising!!!!

That is why I vote cold.

Hi, good price on these!

I can't comment on this particular brand but I have tried similar things in the past with varying degrees of success.

If you are interested in trying these I would suggest reading up on recommended intakes of the ingredients.
I think you'll probably have to take more than the suggested dosage to see any sort of effect.
On their own, the noticeable effects will be minimal. They will only help as part of a calorie controlled diet/exercise plan!

Effects will also vary depending on your metabolism!

Similar products can be found on such sites as affordable supplements (uk) and I'm sure there will be plenty of reviews on the web.

Summary: make sure you research any dietry supplements before taking them!

Voted Hot...good deal...as simple as that.

I'm surprised that people still fall for these 'lose weight pill' gimmicks. The only way to lose weight is to burn more energy than you eat or eat less energy than you burn off. MattC had it absolutely right.

The only thing that will lose weight with this deal is your wallet!
#15
Agree with good eating and exercising, but if you want to try something like this, best paying as least as possible....so voted hot for that reason....now of down the chippy for me cod n chips.
#16
Stop It! You're making me feel hungry and I've still got at least a stone to lose.

I presume it is low fat cod & chips? :whistling:

Completely true.
If you have a higher metabolism, your body burns calories at a higher rate, Fact!
That is what these tablets aim to do.

But like I said before, they won't work well by themselves!

Thanks for your comments xdq. You have hit the nail on the head...A balanced, healthy diet COMBINED with regular fat burning exercise is the ideal - these tablets just aim to compliment the above:)

So if the only exercise you get is lifting a pill into your mouth then forget about weight loss. Better off throwing the box of pills out of the top window then walking down the stairs to retrive them then repeat the process but don't use the lift on the way up if you have one. :giggle:

If you want these tablets, seems like a good deal. However, since we now have a debate on dieting...

FACT - these are not metabolism / fat burning tablets. A modicum of chemistry knowledge could tell you that from the ingredients. The articles you cite are opinions / anecdotal, not scientific data or research.

Activity is the only thing that burns calories at a higher rate. It is sad but true that many people have to work harder than others to get results. Thats down to your genes and there is no tablet to account for that! That's life - nobody says it easy.

:x Why do these health things always advise seeing a doctor. What a waste of NHS time. All of us who are overweight know it and don't need it confirmed. The only advice any health proffesional would ever give is eat less, exercise more and do it slowly, they cannot sanction any products. NHS time should be used for those whose choices about diet are rapidly running out, due to serious illness.

A nicer way to 'burn fat' is to drink Green Tea.

I see it's an ingredient to the above pills but afaik it's literally the only thing there that does any good.

So invest in a box of Clipper green Tea instead

Taken from here

Green tea is also a potent fat burner. People who took green tea extract three times a day saw their metabolic rate increase by about 4 percent, according to a study published in the December 1999 American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Joy Bauer, a New York City nutritionist, says green tea contains catechins, which increase levels of the metabolism speeding brain chemical norepinephrine.

Japanese researchers claim if you drink five cups of green tea a day, you'll burn 70 to 80 extra calories. Dr. Nicholas Perricone , an anti-aging specialist, appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and told Oprah's viewers they can lose 6 lbs. in 10 weeks drinking green tea instead of coffee

The study you quote was based on a sample of 10 men. Hardly credible in research terms
