This could very easily be a manager's special at the Coventry store only, but this is quite a deal. Brand new and boxed.

You might get undeserved cold votes from those users who take into account the difference between local and national deals. I'm not one of them. This is a hot deal no matter how far away you are from it.

Probably because he lives near by... (He means which store not that there are 2 in stock I believe)

Just a note. The dock doesn't work at all with the iPod Touch 2nd Generation.

This almost rendered the dock completely useless, but fortunately I have an old iPod mini laying around that seems to work fine.

And it does sound really good. Good enough to buy a properly compatible iPod touch.

I tried phoning PC World support to get through to the Coventry store. And all I got was cut off after listening to 14 minutes of silence. PC World service really does suck. Nothing but box shifters.

Price is £149.97 nationwide, stock is sparse but does still exist.

£99.97 was most likely to get rid of something that was incomplete.

Not a bad price considering they are about £190 everywhere else, though.

If you call your local store it should be an easy item for them to find - its the only "Fatman" item they stock.

Item was complete. Unopened. Untouched.

On the shelf it was £149.97, but in the clearance department is was the quoted price. they had about 10 unopened, complete boxes.

Your assumption is the only thing about this deal that was erroneous. :)

However, I imagine is has expired now. I haven't been back in the store since.
