Only a quid less than Tesco

The extras dvd I seem to remember wasn't brilliant in this, nice interview with John Cleese though. Good price.

...Or you could realistically say Tesco charges a quid more ! A quid is a quid is a quid.

7 day wait for stock - which realistically means it'll be 2 weeks before you get it. :)

WORD OF WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont know if any of you saw this but John Cleese was on richard and judy talking about some program he is doing, and in the interview he said that he had just finished recording audio commentaries for the show. So if you are an extras fiend i would hold on. This also explains the price drop as retailers know a newer version is coming. Looked for a youtube vid but cant find one :(

He basically said something along the lines of "the bbc said what can we do to get people to buy the same thing again so i was asked to do an audio commentary" then he went on to talk about not seeing them in years.

So if you have it in your basket i would take it out. They might even have a new transfer of the show who knows.

I doubt it will be low as £12.99 when it is released, more like the RRP of £29.99.

If you take in to account the time you will have to wait for it to be released and then the time before the price is reduced to a Hot Deal I would say you got a wait of a good couple of years.

price shouldnt matter tho really, i know this is all about the cheapest deal but its also about value for money. no point in buying this set if its only half as good as the upcoming one, although knowing the bbc it will just have the audio commentary bolted on. at any rate the series is worth 30 quid. i have been holding out for a better version myself. if people have waited this long then you might as well keep waiting

Not exactly the best argument in the world as you could spend playing the wating game forever as they will always be released with something extra, probably have it being released on Blu-Ray a few years after that one.

The first set of DVD's for Fawlty Towers were released in October 2001, then this new set was released in October 2005, so if there is another set it will probably see the light of day in October 2008 or 2009. Looks like a 4 year thing with the BBC then.
