Amazing how often you see Supermarkets offer deals on fatty foods, with virtually none on healthy food.

Awsome deal thanks mod hmmm chocolate

these are full of so much fat it's a health hazard asda should not be encouraging people to buy this trash food not a healthy meal for 4

I was thinking the same, I'm sure 1/4 of that quiche is something like 80% of your RDA of fat/sat fats. Apologies if i'm wrong.

Quiche, salad, potatoes? They go together don't they? You don't need to mix the cake in with them, it's for afters!

Looked it up in the asda online grocery shopping, it's not great but if you add up everything then it's a pretty reasonable main meal for the day I think:

Each 1/3 quiche serving contains MED Calories 332 17%, LOW Sugar 2.1g 2%, HIGH Fat 22.1g 32%, HIGH Sat Fat 10.9g 55%, MED Salt 0.8g 13% of your guideline daily amount.

And for the gateau:
Nutrition Per Serving
Serving Size Per 1/5 gateau
Energy KJ 798
Protein 3.4
Available Carbohydrate 20.7
Of Which Sugars 14.6
Fat 10.5
Of which Saturates 5.4
Fibre 2.4
Sodium 0.07

Dunno why it's 1/3 and 1/5 when the deal is meant to be for 4... suppose someone has to have two pieces of cake and no quiche!

Quiche, salad, potatoes.... hmm ive never ate the likes in my life, I would never eat something like that for my dinner, must just be me... it doesnt seem very nutritional nor appetising in my op but for £4 its a good price, however i think ud be better off leaving out the quiche and the choc cake and just spend £2 - use the £2 change to buy some chicken or something instead
#11
good price for the potatoes
#12
Quiche, jacket spud and salad is nice.....or beans instead of salad..
#13
Stick it all in the blender and have a smoothie  :w00t:

Quiche, salad and potatoes who would ever thought it possible. I cant believe asda encourage this kind of reckless eating. As for eating a cake for a dessert well ive never heard anything like it in my life...........................:p
