Normally felco are silly prices for even a keen enthusiast, however I managed to find this price, it seems they are actually knocking off around 30% off the entire range. When you consider these top of the range roll handle models retail for 60+ on the net and £70+ in garden centres, you can see the fantastic value this deal has. Now is the peak pruning time, so bag a bargain on something you will probably use for the rest of your days!!

any reason for voting cold? these are actually nearly 30% off? Any keen gardener will tell you these are the finest you can buy, and will last a lifetime!

you don't seem to see that felco have different numbers relating to the different models.. Number 7 is the top of the range, what you have done is a little like what they do on the car adverts, 'available from 6999', then in tiny print across the bottom' model shown the gti with all bells and whistles from 13999'. It's ok, secateurs aren't everybody's cup of tea, but hopefully the keen gardeners amongst us will see 30% off is a damn good deal. Just thought I'd post this great deal for the few who enjoy their garden.

Excellent deal, these are the business and top quality I've owned a pair bought over 25 years ago and they cost more than this back then. Good find but obviously not appreciated by non horticulturalists.

No, what I did was post a link for Felco No. 2, rather than 7 (my mistake) as I quite liked the idea of that with the sharpener and inadvertently in my haste quoted and commented on that.

However Google "Felco Secateurs 7" (add "professional" if necessary) and your price is still not outstandingly competitive. My guess is there are plenty of people who will have done that already. I'm not being difficult just price conscious really.

Like you I <3 my garden and appreciate good gardening tools, although I can never say no to Lidl's £3 secateurs as I lose at least two secateurs annually. However, I don't watch car adverts (_;) but currently have both eyes open for a decently priced hosepipe to run from my water butt as well as pondering whether to grow cobaea scandens from my trellis this year!

Note that I did appreciate your post but not the price.

Hey monaco, I just fancied dreaming about getting some 'proffessional' pruners, and low and behold they are currently very cheap compared to what they normally go for.. Hope it's useful to some out there, been a nightmare posting this deal!! Best of luck to you over the coming season :)

all this cold voting is pathetic. All because he had a little moan in misc.

actually monaco has a point these can be had for 14p cheaper here : http://www.gardenandleisure.com/products/felco-no-7-secateurs-.html. I'm here for the deals, I just happened across this deal and thought I'd post.. Not really going to worry about 14p, but still this is a fantastic deal for anyone who enjoys their garden, these have lifetime guarantee, the rolls royce of pruning. Enjoy folks.

Each to his own but I would suggest these beasts are for people in the industry or who live for a weekend in the garden rather than the average gardener or allotment holder. For the average Joe I would wait until someone like Homebase puts all the Fiskers products they have on sale. They seem to have the best balance between price and quality.

fiskers are a fine set of tools, but felco are the industry standard, also, you buy felco, you have them forever, my father has had a set for near 35 years, sent them off for 'servicing' 3 times, everytime they come back like new, can't fault the service. Like I said usually they are silly money, pipe-dream to the amateur, but at this price I convinced the wife that these would be fantastic on fathers day from the kids :D G luck and happy growing!

Who the **** would want to go outside gardening when most of us have a perfectly good telly and ps3/xbox in the living room where you can draw the curtains and shoot/race/decapitate etc. all day long.

£41.99, that's Black Ops on release date.....delivered!
Hot from me by the way.
