Just thought id say; my vet is highly against Felix cat food, with only 4% meat, and 80% filler. She says it causes people to have alot of expensive vet bills. It makes my cats sick too. Id read up whats in it before buying it...

From my own research: whiskas brand is terrible for cats. It has a lot of corn, which is hard to digest, full of by products and artificial colors, and has no real dietary value for your cat. Also, there's TONS of salt. All in all, NOT good for your little kitty friend.

Hot from me, my cat loves Felix and he has just turned 18 1/2 years old. Been run over twice, has to put up with my staffy everyday and still manages to give my dog a swipe if he deserves it for trying to nick the cat's food! :)

Anything your cat likes, including Felix & Whiskas, that is marked "Complete Pet Food" is sufficient to keep your cat healthy

At the moment they are offering a fiver off their food if you sign up to their newsletter/website not sure about prices but a fiver is a fiver. I know they sell it at pets at home so waiting on my voucher and will go along. Not sure where my nearest co op is so going to find out online and if its nearer will pop and see. Good price:thumbsup:

Our big tom loves this , licks off all the jelly and leaves the lumps for the dog.
He's a country cat and ' eats out ' most of the time , this is just a snack for him :)

unlike humans cats generally will not eat anything that is bad for them and if they do they'll bring it up a few minutes later

What a load of old rubbish!!! Does your vet by any chance have their own pet food brand?! :whistling: Never heard so much guff in all my life if that were true do you really think they would be allowed to sell that stuff as two of the biggest brands in cat food?! Come on!

And I've had a few cats in my time all lived till old age all eating a mix of whiskers and felix, never had a problem, they never grew and extra eye or threw up corn on the cob!
