DRMDRM

20% Off RRP £2499.99

First time post so hopefully will get this right! I know this deal will not be for everyone so please don't just vote cold, but watching the Tour de France has got me looking for a new road bike. Found this cracking deal for a Felt AR4 at £1999.99 which normally retails at £2499.99. Reviews on the whole that I have found have been very good too. Details below:

With an aerodynamic High Modulus carbon fiber frame and high-quality, competition-ready components, the AR4 is engineered to minimize drag. Extensive wind-tunnel development has proven it capable of shaving seconds off your time. It’s equally adept at climbing or sprinting, and Shimano Ultegra drivetrain and Felt Aero R2 wheels offer reliable performance for the long haul.

Frame: AR UHM carbon, modular monocoque construction, internal cable routing, carbon fiber dropouts, replaceable derailleur hanger

Fork: AR 1.3A bladed aero UHM carbon, carbon dropouts

Components: Shimano Ultegra groupset, 20 speed, Felt stem, handlebar, saddle and carbon aero seatpost

Wheels: Felt AeroR2 wheelset,Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick tyres

Sizes: S/51 M/54 L/56 XL/58 XXL/61

Weight: 7.69kg / 16.93lbs

Play fair folks! If you're voting cold at least tell the poor guy where he can buy it cheaper. And if you can't find it cheaper then don't vote cold. Hot from me just because nobody is leaving a comment.

Just because you do not realise how great this machine will be to use, it must get a cold vote. The deal is not too bad for a full carbon bike..and Felt is a great make! Could cover some serious miles on this with minimum effort!

£2000 IS a lot for a bike but as I mentioned this deal isn't for everyone. I was actually looking to get this on the Cycle 2 Work scheme which Tweeks Cycles appear to do too which means I would probably pay closer to £1200 due to the tax breaks and spread the payment to a monthly cost of around £100 for 12 months which makes it a lot more managable.

What? You're going to put a rack & some panniers on this to get you to work!?

Voted hot but I'm after the F3 which hasn't been reduced...yet. I actually want an Orbea but the prices haven't come down yet, should do around August though.

    Thanks.

Haha, as long as they are carbon fibre to match the bike then yeah maybe! In all honesty though I'd imagine most of the people who buy bikes on the cycle to work scheme have little intention of commuting on a regular basis on them!

This looks a good enough deal, but I would suggest anyone thinking of spending this kind of money on a road bike check out the Wiggle sale right now.
